I’m sharing my experience to warn other buyers — especially out-of-state customers — about Ferco Motors in Miami, FL. In June 2025, I purchased a 2012 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG from Ferco Motors as an especially out-of-state customers — about Ferco Motors in Miami, FL. In June 2025, I purchased a 2012 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG from Ferco Motors as an out-of-state cash buyer from Texas, relying entirely on the dealership’s representations since I could not inspect the car in person. Before the sale, I specifically asked Jorge Palmerola, one of their managers, if the vehicle had any oil leaks or suspension problems. He explicitly denied any issues. Once the car arrived, I had the vehicle inspected at a certified Mercedes-Benz service center, which documented serious and unsafe mechanical defects: – Failed engine mounts – Worn-out brake pads and rotors – Oil leaks – Unsafe rear tires – Malfunctioning Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic suspension system I reported these findings to the dealership on June 30, and for over a week I was ignored, yelled at, and hung up on — specifically by Jorge. Despite multiple requests, the dealership refused to take any action. They later claimed the diagnostic report was “not verifiable,” and hid behind the “AS-IS” clause, which does not shield a dealership from misrepresentation or failure to disclose known defects under Florida law. As of now, Ferco Motors has refused to accept return of the vehicle or issue a refund. I will be filing a civil lawsuit against the dealership for fraud, misrepresentation, and violation of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). More
I’ve purchased several vehicles sight unseen and it’s been hit or miss. This is the first time someone took the time to explain the car in detail. Good and bad. I researched 3 cars that were posted within my price range and specs on carfax. I called before driving to Miami. However, they assured me the cars were al there. However, when I arrived I was told the cars had a "0" which meant they weren't any good and were sent to auction. Orlando proceeded to show me a couple of other cars, both with much higher mileage. I drove one car and he quoted me a price. I stated that I intended to pay cash and my price point. He gave me a price and said he would see what I could get for my trade-in. The next day Orlando reached out to me and quoted me $3K+ more than originally quoted. Both my son and I were shocked as we made it clear the day before my price point. He stated that it didn't include all of the extra fees. He remarked that he thought I knew. The prior day I confirmed that the price he quoted was with everything as we went back to the office to crunch numbers. I told him I could not go that high. He then suggested a 14' with over 130k miles and then asked if I would be coming back to Miami after work to look at the car. I flatly refused. After reading several other reviews, and seeing that they have done this bait-and-switch to others is sad. All the cars isted that are not intended for sale should not be listed, as it is false. The customer has no way of knowing that it failed inspection, as it doesn't say that on the listing. Furthermore, I called about and wrote to FERCO for each car prior to driving nearly an hour south. Seriously disappointed and a waste of my time. More
