Back Experience I ask them to look at my transmission which had recently started jerking and slipping. I was told by Mike that this was inherent to this transmission I ask them to look at my transmission which had recently started jerking and slipping. I was told by Mike that this was inherent to this transmission (BS). There is multiple blogs about people having the same issues and even a class action lawsuit against GM about the defective transmissions. I am a previous owner of 5 Ram 1500's and decided to try something new with GMC. I love the truck, but there is definitely an issue with the transmission and I feel I was given the runaround. They did take care of three recalls which I have no complaints. I am 100% considering trading my Sierra off due to my worry that it will fail when it is out of warranty. I depend on my truck daily for my work. More
