Was quoted a price for a fairly standard repair (cooling fan and thermostat replacement) that to me seemed excessive at just over $2000. I went to another repair shop and they ended up doing the repair for fan and thermostat replacement) that to me seemed excessive at just over $2000. I went to another repair shop and they ended up doing the repair for me for $870. I don’t understand why the price difference was so extreme - an over $1000 difference feels like price gouging to me. I understand that the dealership is usually more expensive but this experience made me very unlikely to trust this dealership again. More
