prompt and quick repair of issue Upon returning to the Daytona area I heard a "pop" as I was accelerating onto the highway. The on board diagnostics indicated a drive train issue but I was able to drive to my residence. As it was Sunday and the service department was closed I used the online chat function on my phone to describe the issue to a BMW representative. Once home I opened the hood and discovered the plastic downpipe from the engine had cracked and come off the housing. (explained the pop I heard) I was able to drive in "limp" mode to the dealer first thing Monday morning. Upon my arrival the service manager was already aware of the issue and I as able to quickly get a loaner vehicle and get to the my clinic. The whole process went smoothly, even without an appointment. I want to thank the service department and service advisor Dave Gilbert for providing excellent customer service and taking care of the issue so efficiently. Thank you Brian Halleran More

Unforseen Car Repair ..NOT a Problem!! A check engine light illuminated on my car and I brought it in for service on a Monday morning. We all believed that the problem would only require a A check engine light illuminated on my car and I brought it in for service on a Monday morning. We all believed that the problem would only require a change in O2 sensor, etc. Fields does a tremendous job of making ANY wait very comfortable with the great amenities available in the showroom. I did not mind waiting for the two hours as I was able to charge my phone and have a really delicious cookie. Unfortunately, an unforeseen issue came up, requiring a new catalytic converter. And my service manager advised me that it would not be in stock until Thursday. Very quickly, my service manager Jason arranged a loaner vehicle for me and I was on my way. He apologized profusely for the delay but as a 'rational person", I knew that he could not control the situation. But he made my experience so much better with his concern, apology and the loaner car. He did a terrific job and when I returned on Thursday to pick up my car, he thanked me yet again for my patience. He was great and is a great service representative for BMW! More
