I love my new car, but the customer service and toxic masculinity makes sure I will never set foot in this establishment again. Not only was I an inconvenience to my sales rep – never issued an apology, but the disorganization, and blatant rudeness of some of the staff was a no from me. This place is not only chaotic, and they only care about closing the deal, not the human interaction. I would never recommend this place to anyone, nor can stress enough to spend your time and money elsewhere. More
I had narrowed my search to another Mazda 6 and a Hyundai Sonata. When I first reached out by e-mail I received a call from the sales person, JR. when I returned his call he said that he was with another cli Sonata. When I first reached out by e-mail I received a call from the sales person, JR. when I returned his call he said that he was with another client and would call back. He did not return my call until I sent another e-mail asking to work with a different person. That was my first impression of Fields Mazda. As there were no other Mazda 6's in the immediate area I went to Fields Mazda to see and test drive a 2020 Mazda 6. When I went to the dealership to test drive the car, JR was my sales person. I found him to be very pushy (almost aggressive), very high pressure, and he kept pushing the fact that the current offers and incentives would expire at midnight and that if I did not but that day I might lose a good deal. Additionally, he kept putting down the Hyundai as being a great car but horrible depreciation. It just seemed that his only concern was to sell the car, not help me determine if the Mazda 6 was the right car. More

We met with Kevin to test out a new Miata, left in the car, the engine oil light came on. Came back in, everyone was saying, it's normal, must be battery, We are not buying a new car with the oil light on, so we ended up buying our new Miata at Knoxville Mazda, wonderful buying experience. In 2018 we went in to see about buying two Jeeps, in manual, yes TWO Jeeps. They didn't have any manuals, so we sit down with a lady, can't remember her name, she said don't you worry, we'll find you two. So before we left, she said they found two, they'd do a dealer trade and get those here for us quickly. Then the next day she called and said they don't make manual any longer, which was a lie, she said they found two the day before, and we had already seen manuals elsewhere. She kept trying to talk us into getting a big Dodge truck, crazy, we wanted two Jeeps not ONE Dodge truck, never heard from her again. The next day we went to Johnson City Jeep, bought two NEW manual Jeeps, great buying experience! Now, experience three, why we tried again, I have no idea, believe me, not again. We saw a new 2019 Miata online, since Mazda is offering .9% financing, we wanted to trade the 17 and get a 19. Kevin said they had what we wanted, but it wasn't ready for sale yet, but we could come see it. Kevin said someone was also going to look at it. We rushed and left work early, once there, Kevin kept trying to sell us other models, why, we know what we want. So then he took us all the way in the back and said, well, the car is damaged, and someone has a deposit on it?! What?? Why didn't you tell us that, he wasted time and work for nothing! He said come on in, we'll find one. In about 5 minutes he came back and said, yes, we tracked one down. Remember this was Monday, he said he'd be back Wednesday, then call us. That was weird, he's losing business, check on the car now, why would we wait two days? On the way home, 25 minutes, we had already called Chattanooga Mazda, got a price, trade info and had the deal nearly sealed before we got home. Picked up our new car the next day. As of today, Wednesday, it's been 9 days and still have not heard from Kevin, don't think we will, do you? How is this place in business, what is up with not wanting to make a sell, don't worry we will never place on foot on that property. More

As soon as they changed to Fields we where excited to give them the same business as dedicated customers! My wife and I went into the dealership and after some time we decided on a vehicle. The gentleman dealing with us was extremely impatient, he was very very rude, and directed all of his questions to my wife instead of myself when I was the main buyer/signer. I mentioned to him I was getting irritated about these things and he brushed them off as if it was nothing. The representatives we dealt with absolutely did not want to budge on price, or give us even a half way deal on our trade in either. After finalizing the purchase, we where assured that Fields Mazda of Asheville would handle the tag transfer from our trade in to our new vehicle and the salesman we dealt with swapped our tag to our new vehicle. It has now been 5 months after our purchase and Fields Mazda is claiming that they never recieved a copy of my wifes drivers license, and they are pressing us to pay 110.00 fee for our tag which is still registered to our old vehicle!! The salesman has even gotten hostile with me over social media saying I had better come in and pay for their screw up or else I would get arrested?!? I will definitely be talking to an attorney about this situation and wanted to warn potential customers not to deal with these crooks!! They will screw you over any possible way that they can!!! More

Not happy ,to many involved, confused, Went in to look at cars for my daughter . Found a CX5 I liked . Asked abt price. Payments were to high. Chadd ask abt leasing . I had never leased . T Went in to look at cars for my daughter . Found a CX5 I liked . Asked abt price. Payments were to high. Chadd ask abt leasing . I had never leased . They assured me this was the way to go . Left a week and half later. Garrett text ask if it was ok to do so. I said sure . He wanted me to come back in and talk about the car. I told him I needed his best price .he text 31,695 I think it was . I told Chadd that when I got there . He said I wouldn't never quoted u 31,695. I cant sell it for that. I was taking my husband to VA to ER. Told him if we got out early I might stop by. My husband has had a brain tumor, surgery, radiotherapy and Chemotherapy at Duke .we were doing monthly appointments there for extra chemo. My van had 166,000 miles on it I didn't want to break down on the rd to Duke in Durham. Sooo, I stopped by Fields . Talked to Garrett, he turned me over to Frank . In the mean time Garrett took another customer. Then I was turned back to Garrett. Deciding what to do .went to car 2 times to talk to my husband and brother in law . Garrett followed me out there the 2 times. We were discussing miles, money. What to do . He would say come on back in . Got there at 1ish after 6pm left . I decided to lease. 5.30 got to finance, Taylor was going over everything. Asking if I wanted to take extra insurance for this and that .3 more options. I took cosmetic option . 1300.00 extra. None of this was mentioned until I got to finance. I think salesmen needs to be honest tell all this up front. I signed contract. Got on the rd home .6.30ishpm .with a sick husband , I should have left along time before ,went to another dealer. I found others that were abit cheaper . I told them . Oh it didn't have all the equipment this car has. Blob blob. Making excuses . I ask abt Insentives .Mazda doesn't have to offer them because their cars sell so well. I knew I should have left. Taylor called ,I would have to resign my contract .3weeks later. Said Mazda wouldn't let them write the lease protection anymore. It was something new . I said u should have told me that at the signing . It just came out , it was a new thing. I said I'm not coming to Asheville it would take my miles . They would have someone come to me. Almost a week went by . No contact. She calls again she had been out with a sick dog . She apologize. Someone else would be in touch . Abt another week ,she called again with A salesman there . Said someone had been out of office several days . Blob blob. She would be out on Wed 6/5,and bring my tag which Garrett said was there since the 23rd of may. Taylor calls again this am ,said she couldn't bring it out ,someone else would bring it and get papers signed, and call Mazda with me to talk to them about the lease protection . ., Mazda wouldn't talk to me unless salesman was with me is what she said. What a run around . Tell me if I'm wrong. Bunch of bull. I texted Garrett today told them to come get the car . I hate being taken advantage of because I'm a woman . On july 10 fields called again .said i needed to resign my contract again . 3rd time now. They were sending a courier to my house 2nd time . Wanted me to send the 2nd payment by courier. I told them i would send it to bank not them . Wouldnt provide me with address to mail it in ..Hate getting jerked around with salesman and women .i told them they could have it back .i had more to worry abt than them . My husband has had brain surgery in and out of hosp dr offices. More
