Took in my 2020 Malibu for service. Car was running just fine, all gauges were in the normal range. Car needed a correction for faulty sensors and a smog check. Was informed by my service consultant Nick that I would need a $9,000 engine replacement due to sludge buildup. I asked if the sensors could be replaced and codes cleared so we can see where we are and he told me that couldn't be done. And in order to get my car back I'm looking at a $3,000 bill so they can put my valve covers back on and I can drive it out. I don't understand how we can skip the easy fix and go all the way to an expensive fix when it looks like it's not needed.????? I've spent over $1,500 in car rental fees just to get around in the last two weeks without my car. I understand that there are bills to be paid at the dealership to keep it open, so you want to maximize the most expensive amount of work to be billed (warranty or not). But this was just two sensors. More

I got up early for my appointment - i wanted to get the car and out as soon as possible. I showed up on time for my appointment to be told that the car would be in dealership for 2-3 days. It would take at least 2 days to diagnose it. Why? The problem was not difficult -they were just totally backed up. Why the person making the appointment didn't warn me about that I cannot fathom - but I won't be back. I'll look for an auto repair shop that thinks about its customers a bit. More

The 1 star is for the service area. I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone for work done on my car I bought in July. I reached out in September sent an email just to chase it down and find out the perso get a hold of someone for work done on my car I bought in July. It’s been over a month and I’ve reached out multiple times have screen shots of talking to someone online and still have yet to be reached backed out. I have a 2014 Spark that the Chevy recall center has verified that there is a recall on the transmission. I was told to go to a chevy dealership to have it checked to see if the symptoms are due to the verified that there is a recall on the transmission. I called the service dept. and was told that there are no recalls and it would be $450.00 for a diagnostic fee. One more reason not to buy a chevy. More
I recently wrote out of frustration on a service from January30th. I was able to sit down with the service manager and he really bent over backwards to fix the issue. they are fixing our car and them som January30th. I was able to sit down with the service manager and he really bent over backwards to fix the issue. they are fixing our car and them some, now I couldn't be happier. they are % 100 fixing the car with no additional charges. Scott the service manager really made up for the first problem and was easy to talk with. we really feel like Findlay auto cares about the quality work they are doing. More
