I just wanted to add that when I brought my daughters 2016 Dodge Mini Van and my 2000 Plymouth Breeze or my 2013 Mitsubishi I got the same wonderful, competent, professional work with care that I always get from Joe. Thank you Joe for being there. I feel safe and always in a top notch condition whether I am using the older cars for local travel or the newer cars for the 1,500 mi trek I do multiple times a year. To have someone as trustworthy as Joe removes so much stress when I have to spend so much time on the road. And it is really uplifting to know I have always gotten a deal because of the quality of work he gives us. Thank you Firkins for the care you show in choosing your service staff! More

Misdiagnosed Vehicle and Wouldn't Take Accountability I made a morning appointment a week in advance to have an oil leak checked. I dropped it off the day before the actual appointment and didn’t hear any I made a morning appointment a week in advance to have an oil leak checked. I dropped it off the day before the actual appointment and didn’t hear anything from them until 2PM the next day when I called them for an update. That is when they told me that they hadn’t looked at my vehicle yet. Later that day after 5PM, they called me back to tell me a check engine light was due to purge solenoid and ESIM switch (not the reason we brought the vehicle in, we already were aware of that). They stated that the vehicle also had an oil pas gasket leak and that the water pump was leaking, which was news to us. They quoted $1800 for the water pump and gasket, which I thought was high so I paid the $159 for having the vehicle “looked at” and then took it to a reputable establishment who informed me that the water pump was not leaking at all and that that there was a small leak at the temperature coolant sensor (which was a $100 fix). After hearing that, I called the service manager at Jeep and he said that he might be able to reimburse the $159 if they did indeed misdiagnose and that he would get back to me. I sent him the service report from the reputable establishment I ended up taking my Jeep to and he later called me and said that we paid $159 for them to diagnose the check engine light and that the water pump was not part of the diagnosis (although they included in in their recommendation for work to be done); therefore, we would not be receiving a refund. The service manager would not take responsibility for his department making a mistake and was not willing to make the situation right. I do not feel confident in taking my vehicle to Jeep and I would suggest getting a second opinion before spending your month there. Overall, not good customer service. More

I will purchase from Firkins again! I have been looking for a used Jeep with the Sahara trim for awhile. While here on vacation, I started my search again. I found several at other deale I have been looking for a used Jeep with the Sahara trim for awhile. While here on vacation, I started my search again. I found several at other dealerships but changed my mind after checking the Carfax provided. I spotted my 2012 Jeep with the Sahara trim on the Firkins website, trying not to get too excited because these Jeeps sell quickly, I emailed a request for more information. Ashley was fast to respond and I had an appointment that same day. I arrived at the Firkins and was greeted immediately with enthusiasm and I was given a car representative, Nate, to show me my Jeep. The used dealership is across the highway so we invited Nate to ride with us which was great because we relaxed a little by having a great conversation. I immediately liked my Jeep except the ride, it was equipped with aggressive tires which made it rough and bumpy. So when we arrived back at the dealership, I was really disappointed because that was the only thing holding me back from purchasing my Jeep. I was introduced to Gino, the Pre-Owned Director who was determined to make “me” the customer happy. Gino said I will change out the tires if you want to purchase the Jeep. I immediately said yes and that is what he did! I absolutely love my Jeep and I am appreciative to Ashley, Nate, Gino and Craig (finance) for making my first purchase at Firkins a great experience and look forward to my next purchase in a few years. After buying my Jeep, I wanted to purchase a floor mat set and a cargo mat, so I was taken to parts and met Tyler who went out of f his way to help me. Also a shout out to the used car service department, I had a small issue and they took care of it right away with great customer care!! Thank you!! More
