I intend to complain to the FTC..if a component is covered by Warranty and it’s failure causes damage to a non-coverd part. That collateral damage should be covered, as stated in my Maximum Care Cont covered by Warranty and it’s failure causes damage to a non-coverd part. That collateral damage should be covered, as stated in my Maximum Care Contract. Firkins would not cover damage to brake pads and rotors which was a direct result of failure of a brake caliper. Joe Murray claimed that he went to bat for me on this issue and otherwise treated me very well and conducted himself professionally. On the other hand, customer service for my maximum care warranty told me that nothing requested by Firkins was denied. More

I felt as if the dealers didn’t even want to deal with me and I was more of a burden. I had money to put down and was willing to work out a deal but it was more of here are the numbers see you later. The main salesman I was supposed to work with didn’t even care to come talk to me. It made me want to go back to Autonation and deal with them since they never gave me an issue like that and made me feel as if they wanted my business. The service department though treated me very good and were extremely polite and caring while my car was there and I will continue to get my vehicle serviced with them. More
