I always have a great experience at First Texas Honda, and getting regular maintenance this morning was no exception. From the friendly atmosphere, excellent baristas, lovely guitar playing, and sounds of a family enjoying the foosball table to the way the people working there always seem to be happy to be there, I continue to be glad I made the choice to be part of the First Texas family when I bought my CR-V there with help from Pito and Saima. Thank you, all, especially Vince, whose enthusiasm today for his work and for Duolingo made me smile. Thank you! More
My name is Brandalyn Gill and I am not afraid to put my name out there for this dealership. I hate this place and I don't hate anything. These are some of the most scandalous and overtly racist people I ha name out there for this dealership. I hate this place and I don't hate anything. These are some of the most scandalous and overtly racist people I have ever dealt with in my life. I took a review down from before because I "forgave" them for their xxxxery, games, and craziness from last year when they PLAYED me over my bluetooth doing its own thing in my car and my charger dying on the way home from a long drive from work because the car was not charging my car. It was DRAINING it. The sales rep you have may not even be there by the time you need any help so they can ignore your texts and phone calls, because this place flips employees like pancakes on a Saturday morning. I had to report them to the DMV to get help from top salespeople who lied to me and made me have to go to the dealership WITH MY WHOLE FAMILY ON A SATURDAY AS A SELF-EMPLOYED WOMAN HELPING TO RAISE TWO KIDS OF AN INCARCERATED MOTHER AND FIGHTING FOR HER OWN DAUGHTER BACK. These people are passive aggressive and will lock you into the WORST DEAL without even going over it with you. I have a RAGGEDY xxx 2013 HONDA ACCORD that is IMMOBILE in my xxxx drive way because these people told me to contact the warranty in order to get help with my MANUAL KEY not unlocking the door. My credit has been tarnished because I was paying on a car that I cannot drive and have other bills to afford an EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLAR LAWYER to fight for my own kid who has been kidnapped. PAY ATTENTION TO THE PICTURES OF THESE "SO CALLED HAPPY CUSTOMERS" ON THESE REVIEWS - notice NONE OF THEM ARE BLACK ! these xxxxxxxx trapped me into a deal of $17,000 for the ride and $15, 000 in finance charges - got me from behind and called it a lolly pop stick with sprinkles, bro ! DO NOT GO HERE - STANDARD RACIST PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE UPETY DEALERSHIP ! More

We brought our 2022 Civic in for a mandatory recall. We booked the appointment on April 1 for May 27, and were promised recall work would be done the same day. Brought the car in the morning of May 27, We booked the appointment on April 1 for May 27, and were promised recall work would be done the same day. Brought the car in the morning of May 27, waited all day, then received a call at 4:30 saying they didn't have the part for recall so car would be kept overnight. Crazy we had booked an appt 8 weeks out, First Texas Honda knew the VIN and recall service needed, but then didn't have the required part for their own recall. To add insult to injury, we needed a spare key and they charged over $400 - $237 for the key, $110 labor to cut the key, $23 "misc charges", and $18 "misc shop charges". Highway robbery for minimal labor plus $40 just tacked on as misc just because they can. Needless to say we won't be back. More
I brought my 2025 HR-V in to First Texas Honda to service a recall and had my first oil change completed at the same time. They also rotated the tires and performed an all points inspection. The service at First Texas Honda continues to improve each time I take my 2019 CRV in. Today's visit for an A1 service at 30,000 miles, was for an oil change and tire rotation. My whole car was inspect each time I take my 2019 CRV in. Today's visit for an A1 service at 30,000 miles, was for an oil change and tire rotation. My whole car was inspected; I received a picture of my tires with the tread ratings and a video showing a leaking valve and information that my coolant fluid was due for a replacement. I authorized both services and left with my car totally up to date for services. I was fully informed at all steps, both by text and personal consultation. The service could not have been better. After years of wonderful experiences, I confidently recommended my son go to my trusted Honda dealership to buy his first car and it’s been one disaster after another. The car was sold to us with a def recommended my son go to my trusted Honda dealership to buy his first car and it’s been one disaster after another. The car was sold to us with a defective speaker and (we found out much later) no spare tire. We agreed to split the repair cost of the speaker but when we went to pick up the car, the entire right half of the rear bumper was hanging off. It had apparently gotten caught on the car wash? The service manager to whom the issue was escalated (Brent Williams) was lovely and accommodating and got the car repaired at no cost. But the repair didn’t hold and we had to take the car back in. Brent was great again and I wouldn’t be writing this review if that were the end of it. But after my son had to change two flat tires at the side of the road (thus discovering the lack of a spare), he took the car in for a balance and alignment. They sold him another new tire and did the mounting, balance and alignment for $800. When we picked up the car, the low tire pressure light was on. They told us it’d go off if we drove the car above 25 MPH for over 2 minutes, but it didn’t. Additionally, the car handled worse than it had when we brought it in. We took it back and were told it would be $1100 to fix whatever it is that happened when they did the alignment. I’ve written Brent hoping he will again be able to take care of whatever damage the service department has done. If not, I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB. Even if we do get this latest fiasco resolved, we’ll be taking my son’s car elsewhere for repairs in the future and I wouldn’t recommend buying a used car with First Texas Honda to anyone. More
