Jenson, the commitment by our sales representative to you was was for the right to purchase our first two Civic Type R vehicles before any other interested buyers. As you know, the ultimate purchase price for these vehicles was never discussed in the email you mention and we're sorry that you assumed it would be at MSRP (which is under current market value). Lastly, you mentioned that you had secured additional Type R's at other Honda dealerships, which leads us to believe that you are brokering sales to other parties. This is definitely not fair for other Type R buyers who are just trying to buy one of them. We have put our first Type R up for auction, as many Honda dealers have done, and we've given you the opportunity to buy it and end the auction. Please understand that there is a tremendous amount of interest in this vehicle and we truly are doing the best we can to make it fair for all potential buyers. -Allen Clauss, General Manager
