CAN'T INSTALL DEALER INSTALLED OPTIONS ON NEW CARS!!! Purchased a new Chevy Malibu. John Dutton was the salesman. He was ok on showing my in-laws different cars. But after the car was chosen, he would dis Purchased a new Chevy Malibu. John Dutton was the salesman. He was ok on showing my in-laws different cars. But after the car was chosen, he would disappear, for long intervals. He was talking to someone else!! He was very disrespectful in regards for our time!!! We bought the car anyway. The car had dealer installed Black Chevrolet Emblems (Malibu, LT). I never thought to look at the emblems. I thought the car came like that. The very next day ( July 4 2019) I noticed that the emblems were coming off the car!!!! They had to remove the chrome emblems to install the black ones. THEY DIDN'T REMOVE THE OLD FOAM that was on the back of the chrome emblems that they removed!!! They left the foam on the car and stuck the new black emblems to the old foam!! FOAM IS NOT MADE TO STICK TO FOAM!!! So I phoned John Dutton who told me the service dept was closed, and to bring the car in the next day and they would replace the emblems. I took the car in to the service dept and they immediately sent out their service director. REALLY!! This service director guy is looking at the emblems and asks me what is wrong!! So I start pulling off letters (MOST OF WHICH ARE HALFWAY OFF ANYWAY). Then he reaches an ah moment and realizes what is wrong!!!! So he tells me they will have to order the emblems, and it will be 5 to 7 business days. I called their parts dept and they told me they would have the emblems by the following Tuesday 2 business days (this all happened on Friday). AGAIN REALLY!!!! I guess this guy is trying to screw with customers. Salesman John Dutton's response was that I had to bring the car in for them to look at it!! John Dutton or the so called service director don't care about their customers time!! They gave my father in law a $10 dollar gas card. I HAVE NO FAITH IN A DEALERSHIP THAT CAN'T INSTALL DEALER INSTALLED OPTIONS!!! Keep in mind this option is on the window sticker from Chevrolet. We did not ask for it. More

When I arrived Kim had reserved my requested loaner car. Service on my brakes which needed new rotors was completed in a very timely fashion after Kim called me to inform me that Fitzgerald was paying $200 of the cost to compensate for the inconvenience I had experienced the week prior! Thanks so much for that! When I returned to pick up my car they had washed it for me and the process was smooth and efficient!
