Fernando was the perfect combination of sales and "friend". He was not your typical "pushy" car salesman. He kept in contact with me after my first visit and was very accommodating with my schedule "friend". He was not your typical "pushy" car salesman. I test drove 6-8 cars and 90% of the salesmen had very little knowledge of their vehicles. The dealership had a decent selection of cars. The ONE issue I have with the dealership is their loaner cars. I drove an Acura for 8 years and when it went in for service, I was given a NEW model Acura to drive (at no cost). After purchasing my GMC car from Fitzgerald's, I needed a loaner for 1 1/2 days. The loaner cars are handled by Next Day Cars (on the premises). I was given a 2010 Nissan Versa to drive,what a disappointment. I even had to come home and look up the owner's manual online to find out how to put gas in the car. More
Wee bought the vehicle here because of pricing policy. We continue to use the dealership for service. Over time they have assisted is resolving a variety of problems with OnStar (OnStar refused to acknow We continue to use the dealership for service. Over time they have assisted is resolving a variety of problems with OnStar (OnStar refused to acknowledge that the vehicle had been upgraded from the original analog system in 2003 models to a digitial system), After some extended communication between myself and OnStar and the dealer and OnStar, the problem was resolved. A second go-round with OnStar was also resolved with their help. Fortunately, there have been no serious problems with the vehicle itself aside from a failure of the ignition key interface which was rapidly resolved. Most other trips have been for routine maintenance and replacement of consumables such as tires. Pricing for parts and labor has always been reasonable. In contrast to dealings in the past with other auto dealerships (Pontiac, Chevrolet, Ford, and Chrysler models have been owned in the past) my experience with Fitzgerald has always been positive. While he explained the virtues of the top-end selection, Craig did not force a particular requirements for a car and sold the best one for my needs. Consequently, I walked away with the car I wanted, which was a higher-end model than I had anticipated buying before I walked in. His sales approach was thorough, but never pushy. He engaged in conversation of mutual interest. His approach was positive and he sold the benefits of working with that particular dealership and buying that particular car. Dan worked quickly and decisively on the numbers. He showed a number of options and had a sense of how I wanted to the numbers to work. His work was integral in my decision to buy the car that evening. As I left work at 6:00 that evening I had no intention of buying a new car, thinking I would keep the car I had for another year. By 8:30, I signed the deal on a new Acadia. The buying experience was exceedingly positive, relaxed, and enjoyable. More

Again on this purchase he was helpful and facilitative. Appreciated the assistance of the business office in completing the purchase and the follow up calls from the dealer to be sure we were satisfied. When we took our previous Buick( LaCrosse) in for service we had much higher satisfaction than our previous dealings with Coleman Cadillac in Bethesda. We purchased the new Regal to have a smaller car and moved from a lease agreeement. More
