And some dealerships won't give you all of the information up front, even though I explicitly ask for it -- again as a means to force the customer to engage more personally. After a few back and forths, I let these guys know "Look, I don't want a pen pal, I am considering buying a car. If you can't give me the information I need in an email, I'll work the other dealerships that already have." Keith was very easy to work with he didn't try to pressure me into anything which I think is what scares most first time car buyers. After various calls and emails back and forth we set an appointment to drive to Maryland and buy the car. Keith was waiting for me outside the dealership with my new car ready to go. He took me inside to his office, we filled out a couple documents got my insurance setup and Erika Stowe from the financing dept handled the rest of the paperwork, she was really easy to work with as well. I was in and out the dealership in maybe 45 minutes tops more or less. They gave me temp tags to drive back to NY and said I would be getting my NY plates and registration in 4-6 weeks through the mail. I would highly recommend this dealership for your next car purchase. The standardized price not only beat anything I could get in NJ, but the lack of additional miscellaneous fees is what sold me. I am willing to travel if I can find a dealer that has honesty and integrity in conducting their business and I look forward to buying another vehicle from them in a few months. I highly recommend Fitzgerald's and would never think of buying another car in NJ due to all the games they play.
