Due to a lot of medical bills, I have a lot of debt that makes my credit not that good. I expected h a higher rate and payments, but didn't expect a $1900 warranty thrown in. I thought it was the taxes as it wasn't really explained at the time. A couple days later as I was looking over the paperwork, i realized what it was and went in to see Mike. I really didn't want the extra warranty. That's why we by Nissans. They have great quality. Mike explained that it was being driven by the finance company. I really felt at this time we wouldn't get the loan if we didn't take the warranty. I didn't like that feeling. Mike did make a call ( I guess to someone in Nissan) about extending the warranty coverage from 72000 miles to 100,000 miles for the same price. As I felt if I didn't take the warranty I wouldn't get the car I took it as it obviously was a better deal but I end up paying $1900 more for the car and if I were able to find a better finance deal down the road, I would owe too much above the value to do it. I'm an honest, straight forward person. You had something I wanted and you had a price you were asking. I didn't try to get a better deal or ask for reductions or anything. A deals a deal, but the warranty thing just didn't settle right with me and since you ask, I thought i'd share that. I will buy Nissan again in the future, but I will probably go somewhere else because of this. Jodie is still great as he calls to see how we are doing. He reminds us that our first servicing is free and a free detail on the car. These are great things that are important, but I still have a sour taste from what i talked about. Calvin was very friendly and informative about the Nissan I purchased. Although I feel I paid full price for the car with little incentives. Well I bought a 2010 altima from them over the phone with the knowledge of have tinted windows and alloy wheels well it was delieverd in dark without thoes thing and was promised to fix them, and never did t the knowledge of have tinted windows and alloy wheels well it was delieverd in dark without thoes thing and was promised to fix them, and never did then never got my extra key or paperwork or tag and the bank they got me through is asking for 1 st payment within 3 weeks and they were suppose to fix it and never did , since then the saleman Bruce quit with peoples 100$ referal money and is wanted by the law, I am now talking to Albany ga five star to get things taken care of, but would not recomened Warren Robbins store!! Every time i go in i'm met with a smile and the employees there are more then happy to help. I broke down on the side of the road one day and they actually came and helped me instead of just calling a tow tr there are more then happy to help. I bought a Murano from Five Star Nissan off 96 in Kathleen. I paid $23,000 for it. I was told it went through their 180 point inspection and is in great condition. After about 25 days, I found out that the power steering hose is cracked and leaking. I told them about it and they basically said "tough luck" I then spoke with the service manager to get it fixed and they said it would cost roughly $650. They also said that is was on back order and that they had at least 3 muranos waiting for a hose right now. I asked them if they have so many problems with the hose, why didn't they check mine before they sold it to me? They had no response other than "sorry for your luck". So before I even make my first payment on this vehicle, I'm having to pay out $650 on repairs. To make matters worse, I checked the price of a hose online and it sales for around $200. So they are basically trying to hit me up for another $450. The whole place is full of crooks. My salesman was probably the most incompetent person in the building. DO NOT BUY FROM FIVE STAR NISSAN UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET SCREWED OVER. I will never buy another vehicle from them. More
Service department charged me $280 dollars to correct problems associated with a defective battery. I was getting my oil changed (not at dealer)when mechanic showed me that my battery was leaking ac problems associated with a defective battery. I was getting my oil changed (not at dealer)when mechanic showed me that my battery was leaking acid and caving in on the top. Mechanic said that the battery could explode any minute and recommended that I replace the battery immediately. Left the oil change shop and went to an Auto Zone. As soon as the Auto Zone employee saw the battery he said the same thing as the oil change folks...except he recommended that I take it back to the dealership since the battery was clearly defective and the car was practically still new. Took car to dealership next day. They basically said that it was my fault for not bringing in the car for routine inspections at desiginated milage intervals. Said that the battery was no longer under warranty and refused to acknowledge that the battery was DEFECTIVE and could possibly explode. Servive department had no concern for the safety of my family. Their only concern was xxxxxx me to get as many $$$ as they could. I will not go back. More
bad dealership. gave my son-in-law bad deal - charged him 5,000.00 extra dollars for a truck and it wasn't even the actual truck he wanted. The one he wanted they said he could not afford but they jacked the 5,000.00 extra dollars for a truck and it wasn't even the actual truck he wanted. They saw him coming and did a bait and switch on him. Never buy a car from these guys. More
