Tomasz Kaliski - Outstanding Salesman Purchasing a the fine car like the Mercedes E 350 was a stretch for me financially, and I had initial misgivings about buying such an expensive car.   Purchasing a the fine car like the Mercedes E 350 was a stretch for me financially, and I had initial misgivings about buying such an expensive car.  But I felt that Tomasz was fair, direct, very professional and extremely helpful, and I ended up feeling very good about the transaction, particularly in comparison with another Mercedes dealership that I visited in this area.  A very good salesman can make buying a car a positive, satisfying and comfortable experience, and Tomasz is by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He is knowledgeable, personable, low-keyed, and genuine. Everything he told me was honest and straightforward; he was quick to answer any questions I had by phone or email; and he was very understanding when I needed to take a couple of weeks before I actually came to his dealership and bought the car. He told me when my car arrived at Fremont and assured me that it would not be sold. I offered to give him a down payment, but he didn't feel that was necessary. He trusted me when I said I would buy the car, even though it took me a few weeks before I actually came in and picked up the car. Then he spent most of an afternoon explaining the many features of the E 350, and he has offered to spend more time with me if it would be helpful to me. Kate Decosta who I was supposed to meet through Internet contact took over. Kate again made sure that all details were explained and expedited the whole process until the car was delivered to me. I have bought few cars and I really hated to go to the car dealer but Kate and Tony have made the whole experience so easy and painless. Their warm personality and their patience just made me feel that they are friends to help me instead of hassling me. This was definitely one of the best car buying experience I have ever had. Kate DeCosta is the best sales manager I have ever dealt with. She is courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Her positive attitude has changed my opinions about car sales representatives. Initially, I planned to order a CLA because I heard that the wait period is a few months long. I started by sending an email to Mercedes Benz and got a response from Dody Abshir within 24 hours (impressive responsiveness from Dody). Then I got a follow up email from Venessa to set up test drives (Venessa was very helpful and sweet). When I met up with Kate on the day for test drive, she let us test drive the CLA, C250, and C300. During the entire process, Kate was extremely patient and helpful. She even gave us a really good discount in the end. So what started off being an order for CLA turned into a sale for C250.
