My car broke down of all times on a weekend holiday and had to wait till opening on Tue, July 5 and called a local dealer for help explaining my situation and was told it would be a week to have my car loo had to wait till opening on Tue, July 5 and called a local dealer for help explaining my situation and was told it would be a week to have my car looked at. I had to manually shift gears to even get to work by using the emergency brake, and manually shifting the gears from under the hood for every manuver. I then called Brown and they said to bring it on in and I took it in the very next day I was off work around 8:40 am and by 9:20, they came out and said it was done. WOW I was overwhelmed. Hello Brown's Dodge,Jeep,Chrysler My daughter and I were traveling to Richmond to an appt when I realized my car was speeding up and refused to slow down however I was able to pull to the side of I64E! I managed to get it stopped and turned it off then when I tried to start it again it wanted to take off like a lear jet so I quickly turned it off. I looked ot see if I was low on fluids but they seemed in appearance to be full. An Abermarle cop stopped to check on us and he said he could get us a wrecker but he seemed to be to shady so I called Mr Rescue instead. He said he'd call the state cops and they'd be here shortly well an hour passed and no cops! so I was on the phone so I had my daughter call 911 only to learn that the Abermarle cop didn't place a call to the state troopers! State Trooper Frazier and his Srgt called Mr Rescue to hurry them up so we could hopefully make the appt. Jr towing took the shortest,fastest route to Brown's Dodge,Chrysler,Jeep,Subaru and he didn't have to do that but he was a gent! when we arrived at the dealership we were greated very pleasantly which was a welcome relief after all we had been thru! Jeff Baxter took all the necessary info about my car and told me it would be about an hour before they could look at my car to see what the problem was! I was able to obtain a discounted price on the rental since they were gonna do the repair on my car! We had to reshedule the appointment but was able to get to Short Pump to pick up my Son's Christmas gift in remeberance of his girlfriend who passed away in very early March of 2010! They were able to fix my car for under $47.00! I'm so very very grateful! The people that had changed my oil last didnt put a cap back on right so it fell down in and landed on the the throttle and my air filter was filthy! this mistake could've killed my daughter (who was a preemie @ birth) and I and I've birth defects! So it was so awesome to know they're still really caring people in this world like Jr towing, Browns Dealership, Enterprise Rental and the state Troopers! More
