I wish I could say that I was very impressed with my experience at Flow Subaru. I have worked with a very good sales person at Honda in the past 4 years. This was not at all like that experience. The Subaru service person I encountered first was rather curt and unhelpful. I was given minimal help by Devon, who taught me a bit about how to operate the car. She was late for our appointment; no apology. I was supposed to receive a reward which I have not received. I tried multiple times today to reach a sales representative to discuss some questions I have about my warranty, but I could not reach anyone and no one has called me back. I would say I would recommend this dealership with great reservations. The quality of attention to customers is just not what it used to be. More

I went in for an oil & filter change as well as a tire rotation. I was disappointed with both as it took nearly two hours well over the usual time of one hour. The crack had been filled with resin, but it was still about the size of a quarter and less than an inch from the center of the driver’s field of vision. Just driving it around the block gave me a headache. I’ve been searching for a very specific year/make/model/trim — a car well known in the harpist community for being ideal for transporting gear. I was serious about this car, and I drove eight hours round trip with traffic to see it. This car is no longer in production or I’d buy it new. When I pointed out the crack and said I wouldn’t have made the drive if I’d known, the manager told me, “You should expect that from a cheap car.” I’m sorry, but $15,000 is not cheap to me. Nor was this the cheapest vehicle in the tristate area. While the dealership offered $300 off to replace the windshield: 1. My state would fail this car on inspection due to the location of the damage. 2. That trim has safety features (Toyota’s TSS-P) that require camera recalibration after windshield replacement — which the staff denied existed on the car, even though they do. This would raise the cost to possibly $600-$1200. 3. If fix was so easy, why didn’t they replace the windshield themselves before listing it? 4. What other undisclosed problems are there with the car that I should have “expected”? The answer I wish I had given was, “a windshield”. That’s what I expect “a cheap car” to have. More
