Robby and Jay were very attentive to my concerns. Jay followed through with good communication and coordinated the service of my vehicle as he said. Downtown FORD (where I purchased) couldn't diagnose or repair my truck. Even worse they stopped communicating with me and left me to feel unimportant. So, I had enough of them and decided to go elsewhere. I went to Folsom Lake Ford (FLF) where Jay Ford listened, respected my concerns and did what had to be done to repair my truck under warranty. It took a while to coordinate with FORD manufacturing, but he did, and my truck is running the way she should be. I am very grateful to Jay and FLF for all their efforts to keep me as a satisfied FORD owner. I will now take both my vehicles to FLF for any servicing needs. More
I put off recall repair several years finally decided to come in and selected Folsom dealer. I picked a time on first available appt day, a Saturday Arrived about 7 minutes late because took wroing exit off come in and selected Folsom dealer. I picked a time on first available appt day, a Saturday Arrived about 7 minutes late because took wroing exit off highway and got disoriented traversing the auto mall maze, the dealer bounderies are closed off. Upon arrival went into what appeared to be the service office to check in but this was the quick service dept, wrong place. An employee told me to get in middle lane and wait for greeter. Spent next 20 minutes standing around, walking around service area standing next to truck, finally I sit inside vehicle and finally someone stops to ask purpose of visit. I am told someone will be with me shortly and puts a numbered placard on windshield. I decied to stay put in vehicle until another 15 minutes later the service employee from one of the booths talks to me about why I'm there then sends me to wait area. Apparently having appt means little and the personal information entered on the online appt app doesn't transfer to the service agents. I had to provide the same info and then sign the repair form. Three hours later I'm told bad news, they don't have one of the needed parts and have to order I will be called on or about Tuesday to return for expedited attention. On Friday I called the dealer for status, the phone agent was nearly impossible to understand due to static on their end but they managed to find out the parts delivery truck had just unloded my part (miraculous) and I needed to come in before 1:30 pm to have it installed that day or wait until following day, again a Saturday which I chose. This time I got checked in right away, didn't have to do any paper work but it still took about 3 hours to complete the work. I had to check out with cashier and still they don't have my personal informations so I have to write it in what appears to be an old style NCR paper form... I have to check it was 2024 not 1984 and I was having a bad dream. Yes I went out to look at new trucks, specifically I wanted to see an EV F-150 lightning, my next desired purchase, but alas they didn't have any. Must be due to production scaled back last year due to high cost and low demand. I need additional cosmetic items reapaired on this vehicle to get ready for selling or trade-in but I'm leaning towards finding a reasonably reliable independent shop. More
