I purchased a pre-owned ford mustang from this dealer last month & it's been a horrible experience. To begin with; their finance tactics are abhorrent and remind you of some shady, 1980's sales tactics t last month & it's been a horrible experience. To begin with; their finance tactics are abhorrent and remind you of some shady, 1980's sales tactics that give dealers a bad name. I should have followed my instincts and walked out the door. They started by offering some ridiculous 16% interest rate (to see what we'd say) when they could see we were shocked, they came back with som sleazy... "we're still waiting on other banks, these are just the first offers". So to be clear. If we would have said "ok" they would have sold us a car at 16% interest that we ended up getting at 6%. In what world do they start at 16% That alone should trigger some sort of finance usury law or violation of truth in lending disclosure. Again. My big mistake; was not walking out then & there. I ended up purchasing the car. A car with a clean carfax that they made me sign off on, claimed no prior damage, no accidents. Not a month goes by, that I get clipped by a car. After filing my insurance claim, I'm called in by the reputable body shop. Apparently they wanted to point out that the car had been in a previous accident and show me the damage. To my horror; the entire side panel was COVERED in bondo. The paint could just be chipped right off. It wasn't factory paint. The trunk? Also had been crumpled and had paint overspray underneath. When the seats were removed? Broken windshield glass was all underneath the seats (when no glass had been broken when I got clipped). They sold me a structurally compromised car that had clearly been in a major accident that had never been reported while I paid top blue book value for a car that was represented as having never been in an accident. When I contacted them to let them know to see what could be done to make things right, in fairness? Hey, I could understand that mistakes could happen and all I cared about was fairness, in making things right so I gave them the chance to do so. Instead of doing the right thing, they mocked and claimed maybe it was due to my accident. As if bondo magically appeared underneath the car on its own. They claimed the car may have had "cosmetic" repairs, but they were done to industry standards. I'm sorry, cosmetic are scratches. Not impact, not broken glass and not major body work that compromises the structural integrity of a car. I tried to be fair, only to be dealt with the run-around, customer shaming and taking no responsibility for the quality of what they represent to a consumer. Shady business dealings doesn't suffice. The finance manager congratulated stating I was purchasing a car from a known client that had traded in the car, only to find out it was purchased in a general auction for resale. They made no attempt to be fair, not to make anything right, when they sold a car under fraudulent misrepresentation. This isn't the Worthington Ford we used to have. It's filled with disengenious business practices from finance to sales misrepresentation of their cars with no duty of care, integrity nor honor in business practice. THIS is the type of establishment that's every negative connotation associated with "car salesman" tactics. Now I'll be embroiled in legal for the foreseeable future because they opted to not take responsibility, nor offer some sort of solution or anyway shape of form of making things right. I paid top market value for a car that was supposed to be free of accidents that had actually been in a wreck. The value was not the same. But they pretended it was & act like it's no big deal that it wasn't. Blows my mind that a company would compromise its reputation and integrity so carelessly. Instead of making things right, when they could have worked it out? Now they'll be spending it on legal. Their choice I suppose. I will be forwarding it to the CA Attorney General - consumer protection division as well. If any of you that have had negative experiences like mine? Feel free to reach out to me. More
I bought 4 cars under Ron and Jim via Worthington dealership. However, came back to TRADE my Ford F150 for a smaller car, was promised that I would get/receive my trade-in money 3 days after the sal dealership. However, came back to TRADE my Ford F150 for a smaller car, was promised that I would get/receive my trade-in money 3 days after the sale, and still NADA - Its now 2 months and running onto the 3rd. You can't trust these people, from the salesperson to the accounting department, including the General Manager. I have called multiple times and was told they have been paid by the bank, but still can not release and will not release my money, though I have all the paper works from the DMV. The car they sold and the warranty (extended) were doubtful, since some dealers will not accept them. I will not come back to this place, I used to give them hight rating, but NEVER again. Go to a different dealership and AVOID this totally, NEVER ever going back and buy from them, EVER!!!!! More

However, I was promised that I would receive my trade-in money 3 days after the sale's completion. It's December 28th, and I still haven't received a call or check. I have been calling this dealership since the day promised, and the only thing I got is "leave your name and phone number, and we will call you back", where they knew my number on records since I have bought 4 cars before from them, and have been calling to ask where my money and check. To this date, NO CALL and NO Check". I have received the New Registration. I have called the old Bank and was told that they have paid them for the trade-in, and yet, I have not received a call or check. A simple call and word, but nothing, very disappointing and frustrating since I have been a good customer, a repeat customer for 4 times I used to deal with Ron and Jim, where I got cars for my daughter, they were outstanding and true, but with these new clowns from the Managers to the Sales Person and the accounting, very disappointing. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!! They are the lowest people on earth, the worst ever!!!!! More
Don’t let them waste your time. Booked regular & diagnostic service and a rental. Arranging drop off and pick up of the loaner. Got a text saying it’s set. I get there, nothing. I a Booked regular & diagnostic service and a rental. Arranging drop off and pick up of the loaner. Got a text saying it’s set. I get there, nothing. I ask, after standing there for 15 min. Who is going to help me? They know nothing about the appt and don’t have a rental. Like I didn’t already spend 20 min on the phone to arrange all this. And now we get to start from scratch AND I have to go sort out a rental? More
1-Star – “BP Ford Long Beach SCRATCHED my Method wheel, LIED about 37″ capability, VOIDED my warranty, GHOSTED me – $209 fix ignored” Dropped my 2024 F-150 Raptor at BP Ford Long Beach on Oct 30, 2025 f LIED about 37″ capability, VOIDED my warranty, GHOSTED me – $209 fix ignored” Dropped my 2024 F-150 Raptor at BP Ford Long Beach on Oct 30, 2025 for a $2,500 alignment + tire swap (Nitto to factory BFGoodrich 37s). Noon 10/30: Service advisor Jocelyn Martinez calls, tech on their “latest Hunter tire machine” gouged my 3-month-old Method Race Wheel. I asked how; she claimed they ran into an issue, don’t work on 37″ tires and will be outsourcing to Performance Tire. Manager Deana Ramirez promised repair; if I’m unhappy, they’d replace. Service Manager Daniel Pulido later contradicted both, admitting they DO handle 37s but the Hunter machine was uncalibrated, that’s how the damage happened. General Manager Shant Mgerian never replied despite his email being public on bad reviews. Oct 31, 3 PM: Deana emails “repair looks perfect,” refuses $209 replacement wheel. 4:04 PM pickup: Repair is trash, paint doesn’t match, visible sanding marks. Showed Jocelyn & Daniel; they didn’t know what to say. Instead of promised discount on work, I received a full $2,500 refund and left with a warranty-voided wheel. Daniel promised Monday follow-up for a new wheel. Monday Nov 3: crickets. Final email to Daniel: “No reply = escalation.” Today Nov 4: still ghosted. Documented lies: * “We don’t do 37” tires” (Jocelyn/Deana) * “Hunter was not calibrated” (implied) * “Repair = new” (Deana) Raptor or ANY Ford owners: AVOID BP Ford Long Beach service. $209 to them is nothing, but I get zero accountability, and lies. The salesmen of BP Ford are trained and forced into deception by their managers. The sales managers are the worst. They will twist words or even lie any time they can get away with it in order to get deception by their managers. The sales managers are the worst. They will twist words or even lie any time they can get away with it in order to get a few more hundred dollars out of you. I made two visits. The first didn't go well, so I left...all while they were promising me better deals in the parking lot before I drove away...anything to get me to stay. I still wanted the vehicle, so we negotiated a deal via text after that visit with the promise that we were done negotiating. When I arrived after an 1:15 drive, what do you think they did?? re-opened negotiations. Then they began lying about a phantom noise from my transmission to give me less on my trade. First they wanted to take $900 away because "a transmission problem could cost $1000s". Then I made them show me. The car performed perfectly but they still tried to insist that they were hearing something but now it was only $200 less that they wanted to give. Total xx!!! And when you stand up for yourself they accuse you of being rude. I made them prove it and they eventually went back to the deal we had negotiated...but I had to tell them I was walking away. They are not interested at all in cultivating customer relationships, only in squeezing every cent out of every transaction, and they will be dishonest and deceptive to achieve their ends. The culture at BP Ford is toxic and twisted. More
I was told my lug nuts were "swollen" and needed to be replaced at $355.36 for all 16. BP Ford is the only ones that have worked on the tires. It's more likely the lug nuts were damaged by a mechanic t replaced at $355.36 for all 16. BP Ford is the only ones that have worked on the tires. It's more likely the lug nuts were damaged by a mechanic there. If so, they should pay for the replacement. More
Went into BP Ford and met with John in order to do an early termination on our Ford Explorer. After two hours, we were told that Ford does not allow early termination of the lease. This is a flat out li early termination on our Ford Explorer. After two hours, we were told that Ford does not allow early termination of the lease. This is a flat out lie (see attached early termination clause on the lease). Instead, they told me that I would have to turn in the vehicle as a trade-in and buy a new vehicle. These people are truly the epitome of xxxx car salesmen. Little did they know that I have been responsible for the purchase or lease of over 100 Ford vehicles for my business over the last 40 years. I used to do business with Worthington Ford, and BP Ford purchased them a while back. This is a dealer that is dishonest and incapable of honoring a customer relationship. Stay away at all cost. More
I’m very disappointed with my car-buying experience at BP Ford of Long Beach. I purchased a Ford Transit 150 Cargo on July 20, and the vehicle was delivered on July 21. Today is July 25—five full business days—and I still have not received a copy of the purchase agreement, any loan documents, or related paperwork. We have already emailed the finance department, called their office, and left messages for the salesperson, but no one has responded. This kind of lack of follow-up is completely irresponsible and unacceptable for any dealership. I just want someone to take ownership and resolve this issue. I’m extremely disappointed More

Over a year later and we have yet to receive a return call. No mats received to date. The receptionist can never transfer the call to the General Manager. Something about their system being down. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. F rating. I should of checked there first. They do not respond to issues presented to BBB. Steer clear!!!! More
