Prior to this dealership transferring from Winegardner Chevrolet to Fort Washington Chevrolet, my rating for them was a 5 star. It’s now a 1. I purchased a brand new car and an additional 70,000 mile se Chevrolet to Fort Washington Chevrolet, my rating for them was a 5 star. It’s now a 1. I purchased a brand new car and an additional 70,000 mile service warranty with Winegardner Chevrolet a couple of years ago. During the COVID-19 pandemic that occurred after I purchased my vehicle, I rarely drove my car. As a result, I’m now just reaching over 65.000 miles. Sadly, the Manager there told me earlier this year after completing a service that he could not honor my warranty agreement after this visit because I’ve reached 10 service appointments and that’s all they could do. Again, my service agreement indicates 70,000 miles and not 10 service appointments. To avoid, going back and forth with this Manager in the belittling tone he was using with me and in the presence of other individuals in his service department (i.e., he openly asked if anyone else there could help explain to me what he meant. He even had the audacity to tell me I could go see Mr. Winegardner for help with this matter). This yielded complete silence and the look of shock on their faces. Again, to end this most embarrassing confrontation, I yielded to his explanation that I only had 10 warranty covered services as I wanted to reread and confirm the terms of my Warranty Agreement as I didn’t have it present with me and hadn’t read it in detail sine I purchased it. I recently contacted another Chevrolet dealership for service and for some odd reason, they could not find my service Warranty agreement (which I still have the original copy) in their computer system. I found this quite interesting and so did they. As a result, I had to pay out-out-pocket for the past due services I needed and prepaid for when I purchased my car. As a senior citizen, I find this type of service quite appalling and not representative of the Chevrolet brand. More
I had a very similar experience as Robert D. had from his review on June 1, 2026. My daughter took her car in for a check engine light and front end noise. To fix the check engine light, this de had from his review on June 1, 2026. My daughter took her car in for a check engine light and front end noise. To fix the check engine light, this dealership gave her a quote of 1,732.24 replace the PCV orifice and related work, 384.92 to replace spark plugs, 364.95 to perform fuel service. She also had an oil change and tire rotation. She dropped the car off July 23 and picked it up on the 24th. For the 2,879.66 she paid, the check engine light was cleared and everything was fine. That was until 2 days later when the check engine light came back on. She took it back on July 28th, and now all of a sudden the transmission is the problem and it will cost 8,000 to replace. It's a 2020 Malibu with 95k; she was hopeful to get more miles out of the car before trading it in. I went there and spoke to the service advisor Don who was of little help and then to the service manager. I told them both this looks very suspicious and I felt like their misdiagnosis cost her over 2,800. I have no proof and they'll never admit it, but either they scammed my daughter or the repairman did something to the car that caused the transmission code to come up 2 days later. After my experience, I used Claude (AI) to compile a list of complaints from the location. I would advise staying away from this dealership's service department. A lot of the experiences I read through are similar and you're taking a risk having your car worked on at Fort Washington Chevrolet on Rt 210. More
Incorrect $1,600 seat diagnosis, vehicle damaged during service, poor bumper repair, and a vague $7,000 transmission recommendation. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience. service, poor bumper repair, and a vague $7,000 transmission recommendation. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience. More

Deception. . a core business principle! Dan Shepherd doesn't act in good faith and Michael Clements approves. Vehicle MSRP includes destination/freight charge . a core business principle! Dan Shepherd doesn't act in good faith and Michael Clements approves. Vehicle MSRP includes destination/freight charge although winegardner advertising is deceptive in that the "price reduction below MSRP" and "Total E-Savings" also include the destination/freight charge. They even note that the price reduction is available to all, but then add the destination/freight back into the vehicle cost on the purchase order. The vehicle description states that the "Price does not include applicable tax, title, license, processing, documentation and/or electronic filing fees and freight" and there's another disclosure statement if you scroll to the bottom of the vehicle advertisement that states "All new vehicle internet prices exclude tax, tags, destination, and a processing fee of $500 (not required by law)." Buyer beware! More
