We have purchased a used car and a new car from Frontier Honda. At both purchases I didn't walk out feeling like I got screwed. Both purchases were very plesent. We have taken the new car to Michael Dou Honda. At both purchases I didn't walk out feeling like I got screwed. Both purchases were very plesent. We have taken the new car to Michael Dourghty several times for service. He tells us exactly what is needed and sees that work is done and nothing more that isn't needed. He is very friendly and truly cares about the maintainance of our car. I have purchased over 20 cars in my lifetime and Frontier Honda is the only dealership I would recommend to my friends. It's been 5-1/2 years since purchasing my very first honda, a crv, from frontier honda. Since then I've been extremely satisfied with the crv's performance along with the exceptional customer service I honda, a crv, from frontier honda. Since then I've been extremely satisfied with the crv's performance along with the exceptional customer service I receive whenever it needs maintenance and care. I'm diligent about my service light indicators. A car performs better and last longer when it is regularly taken care of. Derrick and Graham do just that! When I drive up into the service bay, they greet me with a warm welcome and see to it that my car is well cared for. To this date I have not had any issues because I know that I am in the hands of a "master" mechanic, Graham. The service team make me feel like "family" so it's not a "dread" going to see them. They have completely change my mindset about "dealership" service. Even when I have a question and call in, like I did today, Derrick steers me in the right direction with his sound advice. I'm so glad they take wonderful care of my crv :-) More
My husband and I had our vehicle towed to this dealership because the car would not crank over to start. This dealership diagnosed the problem as a bad battery and it needed a new wire harness. We replaced b because the car would not crank over to start. This dealership diagnosed the problem as a bad battery and it needed a new wire harness. We replaced both ($1000) and when my husband picked the car up and drove it 5 miles, the car died. We had the car towed again and they stated a screw was to long so they replaced that. Three weeks later, the car would not crank over AGAIN and it was the EXACT same thing that was happening three weeks prior. The car was towed again, for the third time and their first response was that they could not find a problem. Two days later they stated it was now the starter ($500). All in all it was probably the starter the first time and the battery and wire harness were perfectly good, they mis diagnosed the problem and don't want to admit they made a wrong diagnosis, so my husband and I were stuck with two bills when the real issue was the starter. Go at your own risk. Lesson learned, $1500 was way to much money to learn that this dealership is a fraud!!! More
I went to Frontier Honda on Wednesday afternoon, I approached the first desk I saw which was the Red team and told the guy at the desk my problem. I told him my vehicle was having this terrible smell approached the first desk I saw which was the Red team and told the guy at the desk my problem. I told him my vehicle was having this terrible smell and that it was getting worse. The Red team advisor told me he had to charge me 60 dollars to diagnosis my problem. I told him I thought it was a just an oil leak and wanted to know what is was before I committed to paying for anything. I told him he was crazy that to put a car on a rack and see what is leaking would cost 60 dollars, he said “that is our fee.” I left!!! I went in today because the smell was driving me crazy!!!! I drove all the way down and got this guy from the Blue team. With a deep Texan accent he asked me “how can we helpya sir?” I told him my problem and he kept walking around my car, I almost got dizzy. This man from the Blue team then reached into his cargo pants and pulled out a flashlight to look under my car. He then popped back up and said “I think I know what your problem is” and before I could ask what it was he tossed my keys to someone else. He then told the guy he tossed my keys to take it around to the wash and tell them to try to get the plastic bag off the exhaust. The guy from the Blue team then directed me to the waiting lounge and said “It will be a few minutes but I think you ‘all will be ok, I’ll come to getya when they are done.” He never said his fee for figuring out what my problem was. Fifteen minutes later he comes in and sits down beside me and just gives me my keys. Keeping up with the Texan accent that he has I asked “what do I owe ya?” The blue team guy caught it and laughed after that he said “nothing.” I told him “I always pay what I owe.” He laughed again and said “well, come back and see me when you need something more than a car wash.” I will be back, but only go to the Blue team, I suggest you do the same. He may be straight forward but at least he is honest! Just so you know he was right my burning smell has gone away, I think this dealership is good, but it depends on who you get. More
I went in with what I thought was a bad transmission and it turns out that it was just a switch. Mike was really nice and didn't try and sell me things I didn't need. I have had trouble at other dealerships it turns out that it was just a switch. Mike was really nice and didn't try and sell me things I didn't need. I have had trouble at other dealerships, but they went out of there way to help me and were very straight forward. More
