How many negative experiences do you need before you stop going to a place. This incident was the last straw. Simple oil change and tire rotation. The tire rotation was recorded on the service sheet, but the going to a place. This incident was the last straw. Simple oil change and tire rotation. The tire rotation was recorded on the service sheet, but they were never rotated (I marked the tires before I came in). Hmmm, was the oil even changed, I don't know. Read the positive reviews but how do they know the service they are praising was even done. A dealership should be above this kind of dishonesty, but this one isn't. You have been warned. More
We recently had an issue after having our vehicle serviced. We returned to the dealership and the service manager immediately took care of the problem. Great customer service. Thanks Fowler serviced. It is 105 degrees outside and two of their air conditioners are out. It is sweltering in the waiting area. This is the second time I have had to bring my car in for repairs and I just bought it 2 conditioners are out. It is sweltering in the waiting area. This is the second time I have had to bring my car in for repairs and I just bought it 2 months ago. The car was certified and they promised loaners for service now they are saying they don’t know if they have one but let it slip the the lady who checks out loaners isn’t here. More
Took my 2010 Odyssey for an oil/filter change for a 7 AM appointment. I didn't hear back till the afternoon and was told that the oil drain was stripped and needed to be replaced. I had the oil/filter chang appointment. I didn't hear back till the afternoon and was told that the oil drain was stripped and needed to be replaced. I had the oil/filter change at the same place in July 2021 and no issues were found with the oil pan/drain plug. Basically, the Fowler Honda technician stripped the drain plug but wanted me to pay for the replacement. I left a voice mail for the Service Manager and heard nothing back so far. This is not a place to get your car serviced. I stand by my words and if this issue can be resolved to my satisfaction, I will update this review. At this point, I am extremely disappointed and not happy with the experience. More
I had a 2017 Honda Civic hatchback with 1.5 turbo I took it to Fowler at least 10 to 15 times to get the oil changed and all the fluids topped off the reservoir for the windshield washer fluid was busted a it to Fowler at least 10 to 15 times to get the oil changed and all the fluids topped off the reservoir for the windshield washer fluid was busted and then never once told me about it if they had filled it it would be running out on their feet. I also took it in because my air conditioners blowing warm they checked it out trouble getting through the Freon or whatever it is into it they should bring back it has a leak but bring it back when it stops and will put new stuff in. Well it stopped and I brought it back in they said I waited too long and that my air-conditioning compressor was leaking and needed to be replaced I called someone else and repair business and they said they never heard of it I got to check in further and there’s video on YouTube it tells you how to connect one thin little wire to make the air blow cold again again. This worked on my car and a 2017 cry. Everybody acts as if they don’t know about this but if I know about it I’m sure Honda and all the other dealers know you can fix it for less than 20 bucks and they’re charging everybody else too much if you’re having problems with your Honda air-conditioning call me I’m Steven 405-441-7244o More
I was looking for a pre-owned Honda Fit. Found a 2018 on the Fowler website. I called to insure it was available. I was assured it was. I asked if a pre-purchase inspection with my mechanic would be a probl the Fowler website. I called to insure it was available. I was assured it was. I asked if a pre-purchase inspection with my mechanic would be a problem. They ok'd this. When I arrived the Fit was pulled up and ready for a test drive. Afterward, I took it for the PPI - came through clear. After some negotiation on my trade-in and the overall OTD price we came to number I found acceptable. From sales to finance dept., my experience was positive More
Waited needlessly I almost always am happy with the service here but there is one guy, Cecil, that I've dealt with a few times. I think he forgot about us or something. I almost always am happy with the service here but there is one guy, Cecil, that I've dealt with a few times. I think he forgot about us or something. We spent five hours waiting for something that should have taken 2 hours. We made the mistake of taking a shuttle to the mall while waiting and I think he forgot. When I called after three hours to check the status he acted like he didn't know who I was was! They hadn't even done anything to the car yet! Next time I will make sure I don't get him. I've actually had him before and he dismissed a problem with my car after I got it serviced there. He needs more training or something. No more Cecil! Thank you to management for noticing us sitting there, tired. Cecil had left for the day and didn't say a word to us. More
Beyond Disappointed UPDATE!!! The Fowler dealerships used to be known for integrity but I guess now it is not the case. We took our Honda Crosstour in for a heater core r UPDATE!!! The Fowler dealerships used to be known for integrity but I guess now it is not the case. We took our Honda Crosstour in for a heater core replacement and when we went to pick it up, we could not believe our eyes...the front window was broke and had to be replaced along with antifreeze poured all the way thru to the back seats, cracked plastic parts on the dash and console, deep scratches on the exterior paint by the hood, carpet misaligned and not back in place, dirt all in the back seats, and of course the cost was still $1500+ and no discount offered. Fowler Honda acted like it was not a big deal and we were overreacting. They fixed what they could, but not everything, and shampooed the carpet. The smell of antifreeze is still in it. Again, still $1500+ cost and no offering of a discount. Now guess what!?! The heater core is out again and there is no way we’re using them to replace it. I cannot be more vocal about making people aware of this dealership and how bad they’re service department is but they’re sales department is just as bad. We told them we’d like to sell the Crosstour instead of going thru another heater core replacement and all they would offer us was the lowest KBB price for trade-in value and when I told them my KBB pulls up $4k more when I put in the correct information they tried to lie to me and say the way they use KBB is more accurate but all they did was use “fair” condition in lieu of the actual “good” to “excellent” condition that our car is actually in. A condition we have tried to maintain despite the damage they caused to our car. I will never do business with them for the simple fact is they did not attempt to resolve their issues properly but made up lies to persuade us to ignore their incompetence. End result, we still have to get the heater core replaced, but it will be done by another dealership. UPDATE: We ended up in Tulsa at Don Carlton Honda because we read many good reviews and were actually recommended to them by another Honda mechanic. We told them all we went thru at Fowler Honda and asked them to replace the heater core as per Fowler Honda’s diagnosis of our issue. Don Carlton Honda checked out the vehicle and asked us if they could just flush the heater core system before they go thru all of the labor to replace it, again. Well guess what!?! That’s all it needed was a system flush. So rather than going thru all of the intensive mechanic work of replacing the heater core, all it needed was for the system to be flushed. Also, before we took the car to Don Carlton Honda they asked us to call Fowler Honda and request information of what their diagnosis was for the heating system. This was right after we posted this review, and they knew it was us when we called. Fowler Honda asked us what it would take to resolve this and we told them, give us our $1500 back!! That obviously was out of the question. This should speak volumes about Fowler Honda as they weren’t too concerned about how they performed their work or treated us but was only worried about a negative review and not too worried about resolving the issue. Customer gouging This dealer charged me $679.99 for a broken lug bolt on the front L/H side of my car (2009 Honda Fit). They said the only way to replace a front wheel This dealer charged me $679.99 for a broken lug bolt on the front L/H side of my car (2009 Honda Fit). They said the only way to replace a front wheel lug bolt was to replace the wheel bearing, the hub and the ABD sensor assy. I am not even sure if they replaced all those parts because I had asked to see the used parts when I would pick up my car. Well the used parts where nowhere to be found. I thought nothing of it at the time because I trusted the dealer. What triggered the questioning is that Fowler Honda replaced a broken front L/H side lug bolt on my car. While I was up in Canada 2 months later, I found a broken front R/H side lug bolt on the same car. I brought the car in a Honda dealer and to my astonishment it cost me $79.14. I asked the service rep about having to replace wheel bearing, hub and ABD sensor and he said it was not necessary to replace all those parts for a front lug bolt. After telling them about what Fowler Honda charged me for the same repair they could not believe it themselves. FOWLER HONDA RIPPED ME OFF. I contacted their service manager and he told me they had done nothing wrong and they had followed the honda repair book. Customer be aware of these people. More
