I have lived in Rochester Hills almost my whole life and never felt the dealerships were interested in making a deal on a vehicles. He showed my options within the budget I needed to be in. Set me up for a test drive Made sure I was clear about all the detailes of the new vehicle. He made me as a female, worry free that he was not taken advantage of me. Everything was set up and car delivery within a few hours and that has never happened at any dealership. Filled the car with gas and again not every dealer has done that. Grant did not play games on the price..I think he gave me the best he could with out the hassel. My wife and I had purchased an 08 Grand Prix about 9 months ago from Jerry Tocco at Bill Fox. We had been to several dealers, each time knowing exactly which vehicles we wanted to look at, but each tim months ago from Jerry Tocco at Bill Fox. We had been to several dealers, each time knowing exactly which vehicles we wanted to look at, but each time we spent more time listening to them, instead of listening to us. I contacted Bill Fox after find 2 vehicles I was interested in and just happened to get Jerry, told him which vehicles we were interested in and why we were looking at those types of vehicles. I also explained our situation about how we went from 2 great vehicles to none over a 2 day period, due to a part on a foreign car being way to expensive to bother fixing, and an accident in which my wife's vehicle was totaled but fortunately we were blessed and she was not injured. We arrived and within minutes we were test driving both vehicles without Jerry saying anything about selling, mostly listening about why we liked those 2 cars. After driving both, we weren't completely sold on either one. He suggested we try the Grand Prix, which we hadn't even considered, but because he listened to us, he knew it was a perfect fit for what we needed in a vehicle. After driving we finally spoke about money and our limitations and Jerry had the deal done within an hour or two after we decided it was the perfect fit. Because Jerry was informative about the dealership, its history, customer service, and integrity, we brought our Grand Prix back for every scheduled service or needed maintenance even though it was a farther drive than necessary but we were comfortable in knowing that not only would the work be done right, but we could trust the integrity in pricing, and we never disappointed. For the last 3 months we had been looking for a 2nd vehicle to fit our needs and had touched base with Jerry but didn't think we could afford or get decent financing on a 2nd vehicle without going through a "discount dealer". Recently we received a "pre-certified mailer" from a "discount but large" dealer that was minutes away from our home so we set up an appointment for last Tuesday evening. Jerry's Customer Relation Associate just happened to send us an email that morning asking if we had been happy with our previous service and if she could assist with anything. I responded to her email, stating specifically how we did have some financial constraints, but in a perfect world we would purchase our vehicle from Jerry Tocco at Bill Fox every time if we could. I also advised her that we did have an appointment later that day. 5 minutes later, literally, I received an email from Jerry simply stating 'I believe we can find a way to get you into something you like, just give me a chance'. I looked at Fox's inventory on-line, called Jerry and told him which 2 cars, a first choice and a second, we were interested in if he could make it work. Out of respect for our commitment to our "pre-approved" appointment that evening, where we were simply to show up, present our letter and pin to a certain individual, and walk out with our vehicle that evening, I called this individual and got his voice mail. I left an honest message that I would just like a brief phone conversation with him to help me feel confident before we came to his dealership and was completely honest about speaking with a previous salesperson we had done business with in the past, (Jerry). This unnamed gentleman never returned my phone call. I called Jerry back and within 3 hours he had my wife and I financed in our dream car, at a price we were grateful to get that car for, and a fair financing arrangement. We picked it up the next morning in less than 30 minutes. Jerry had every single piece of paperwork ready, signature lines highlighted, explained every piece of paper we were signing, and talked to us as friends, not customers. Jerry was able to give us the type of customer service you dream for in today's world, because he listened to our needs and limitations and worked to get us exactly what we wanted because he knew, simply by listening, and actually caring that his customers walked away not just happy with the car and the price, but happy in the way we were treated. We will continue to take both vehicles to Bill Fox for every regular service, maintenance, or repair and the main reason for that was the manner in which Jerry treated us, the quality of the vehicles, and that when Jerry spoke it wasn't to sell us, but to educate us about the dealership's history so we felt confident in our purchase. To put it simple, as long as Jerry is selling cars, my wife and I will never consider anyone else ever again, and would recommend him to anyone. By putting us in the vehicle he did, at the best price he could, Jerry actually improved the quality and comfort of our life, and with myself commuting a long distance to work, put us at ease about the quality of both our vehicles and the abilitly to keep them on the road for at least the expected duration of those vehicles. I've purchased approximately 10 cars from dealers, 2 pre-owned, and the rest new, and Jerry was the difference that made those 2 pre-owned purchases the most satisfying and confident purchases out of all of them. Jerry didnt earn our customer loyalty through cheap gimmicks or sales speak, but Jerry deserves our loyalty for getting to know us and treating us like people want to be treated. Jerry is without a doubt, an honest salesperson with the type of integrity that you don't even worry about the money you are spending because you know it is money well spent. Thank you Jerry for the way you helped us and improved our ability to get back and forth to work, church, and family without any vehicle concerns ever. More
Michael Contoni is the reason for my RAVE review. I had talked to many different dealerships ,across several different brands, the day I stopped by Fox. Mike absolutely won my business. Honest, straightforward and persistent without being pushy. Careful attention to detail, quick follow up with questions and most importantly- just very genuine and friendly. It felt more like great customer service than sales AND I got the best offer from him, without him knowing my other offers , than from I got from 3 different Chevy dealers. I was very surprised with the service my husband, kids and I were shown! I couldn't believe out of the three dealerships we went to, Bill Fox Chevrolet was the only one that made us feel like we were imp and I were shown! I couldn't believe out of the three dealerships we went to, Bill Fox Chevrolet was the only one that made us feel like we were important, too. Mike Contoni not only delivered outstanding service to us, but continued to keep us in touch of the process everyday until the whole deal was done. Mike knew what was best for us and didn't pressure us in getting something that didn't make sense for us. He found what we needed, found the color I originally wanted, and stayed positive through the whole process - which kept me calm, too! It was actually a fun process! I droped my car off on 7/10/13 about 9:30am with Al Schilkey Service Consultant,explained that the check engine light was on, the drivers door wouldn't open with the key & i needed 2 new key fobs. by Schilkey Service Consultant,explained that the check engine light was on, the drivers door wouldn't open with the key & i needed 2 new key fobs. by 4pm that afternoon I still didn't here from Al so I called and ask what did they find out on the car, Al said it needed an 02 senser, and a door lock cylinder i said ok put them in, the next day 7/11/13 i called around 4pm Al said everything is done except for the lock cylinder won't be in till 7/12/13 in the morning, so i called at 12:30pm Al said the lock cylinder will be done in 20 minutes so I went to pick up car around 1pm waited for another 45 minutes then Al got the paper work so i could pay the bill and noticed that the 02 sensor that we discussed 2 days ago was never installed!! WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS!! NOBODY CALLS YOU TO LET YOU KNOW! what needs to be done on your car! Then you go there (they had the car for 3 days) and things that were to be done are not finished!!! ( 02 sensor)come on 3 days and you can't install an 02 sensor( unplug it! unscrew it! ) REALLY!!!! can't see them keeping customers past the 1st service visit. NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!!! More
Attempted to lease a Equinox from you today. Your salesman was unfriendly to say the least and even accused me of lying when I informed him of a quote from the next door Toyota Dealer. I brought in the Oakland Press from Saturday-today (7/13/2013) to see if the price would be honored. He informed me that the pricing was old and they could not honor it. Really? The paper from today would not be honored? He then told me that they were demos for that pricing. I asked him why it was not in the advertisement or the fine print. He informed me that it was common knowledge and that everyone knew! I guess it was only me that did not know. He then crunched some numbers and of course they were much higher that what was on the paper. I figured with my family working for GM I might receive a discount, but I was wrong. I leased a new Equinox from Mike Savoie later that day and they not only matched the price in the paper but they found another discount worth one thousand dollars off (competitive lease rebate) I was astounded and amazed. I was actually being treated like a human being! She even smiled and shook my hand. I am a very satisified customer now that I have gone to a different dealership. I wish that the original salesperson from Bill Fox could have been friendlier and worked with me on the price. If you don't have good customer service, you don't have anything! More
We had an overall great experience at Bill Fox Chevrolet. He was knowledgeable about the car and able to answer all of our question. We made a purchase that day and Mike spent time familiarizing us with all of the "buttons and settings" in the vehicle.
