Essentially what happens is when you buy a preowned vehicle they make sure to sell it to so that it barely meets the trademarked Subaru certified preowned vehicle requirements that exist for your car. Then after they stick you with the car you will see from the immediate service you have to give to your vehicle after just purchasing it that you are essentially the one getting it up to the standards that exist within the certified preowned program. They will allow you to get up to about $10,000 in repairs through your warranty contract before they simply pull the plug on your warranty contract. Now being that fox Toyota Subaru sells warranty contracts, there is an affiliated company that exists for the pure reason of taking the heat if say legality were to enter the equation. DEALERSHIP OWNED WARRANTY COMPANY (DOWC) AKA “fox Toyota Subarus fall guys or front company” I like to call them. after all is said and done you will be left with no car, you will still be paying it off and you will not be able to go after fox legally even though they are the ones that sold you a xxxx vehicle in the first place. They really got scamming figured out. Fox Toyota Subaru exists to sell brand new cars to which they make no money on and literally ANYBODY can do, and for scamming people with their certified preowned vehicle; essentially their real and ONLY money maker. Andy Miller and Matthew Boicourt are the ones responsible for EVERYTHING I have just said. And I cannot WAIT to see them both go down to the 9th circle of xxxx. More
For the second time in as many visits we were caught by the bait and switch. We arranged to go see the vehicle we were interested in, confirming shortly before they closed that it was available. We arrived at the dealership 30 minutes after they opened and were greeted and told “Oh that vehicle has already been sold, but we have lots of other great cars for you to look at. The sales person said they emailed you.” (Nope, I got every single other email in a whole string of emails, but NOT that one) After driving 1:30 one way, to have this happen one time, ok, but twice in as many visits. I have talked to several other individuals who have had similar bait and switch experiences with this dealership. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. It won’t happen a third time. I don’t care how nice the car, how long we have looked for one just like that or how good the price may be. Fox will never again get my business. More
They didn’t have what I was looking for so I purchased one from Nye Toyota instead. My daughter is looking for a Sienna so we will see if she gets one there or from Nye or Burdick or Romano. This was the old bait and switch, pretend you have the vehicle to get you in, in hopes of selling you something e order one because I was not local.
