Good service pricing compare with other VW dealer. They service my jetta there couple times. Only one time had oil leak problem; however, Dave took care the problem right away. The reason why they only got a 4/5 on the Overall Experience: The only gripe I had was with the Financing/Aftermarket-Warranty guy (I do not recall his name at the moment). We did our financing through a different bank and we did not want an aftermarket warranty. He didn't seem to understand the words "no thanks" regarding purchasing the warranty so I had to simplify with a reoccuring "No." He would be a great sales guy if he was dealing with daily push-overs... Alana (our sales woman) was the opposite. She enjoyed her job and seemed happy to be working with customers even if they weren't in the market to buy. Since we were buying used, there wasn't really a way to upsell us on options, but she never tried to get us into a new car which I was surprised by. Not that we would have bought a new car, I respect the fact that she never stepped over that line. Unforetunately she said that she makes no commision on the used cars, but I hope she was lying. She deserves a high salary and commision. ;-) If Fox Valley ever has another vehicle that fits our requirements, we wouldn't think twice about calling/emailing Alana. Thank you! More

In my most recent experience at Fox Valley Volkswagon I had service done on mini-van. The brakes were making a terrible noise. When I brought the car in I received a wonderful loaner car to drive while my had service done on mini-van. The brakes were making a terrible noise. In the end they told me I didn't need new brakes at all, but suggested to me how I could get rid of the accumulated brake dust that was making it noisy. I appreciate the HONESTY I received at Fox Valley Volkswagon about the condition of my brakes. They could have easily told me I needed new brakes and I would have gone ahead and had the work done. Often I feel vulnerable taking a car in for service because it is so foreign to those of us who don't know about cars, but I feel confident that the service done at Fox Valley is with honesty and integrity. In both buying experiences, Frank was very thorough in going over all the features on the cars. In addition, Frank was very good with following up on my purchase to make sure I was happy and had no other questions. He also helped me get a couple accessories for my vehicle by working with both parts and service to make the process easy for me.
