Went for my 10,000 mile or 12 mth oil change and inspection in Feb-2024. Days later it appeared that oil was leaking on my driveway. Pretty sad when your car is fine then days later fluids ae leaking underneath you car. I have had poor response from this dealership since I started bringing it in. More

I went to the dealership for a oil and filter change. I stopped to say hello to Peter and he told me about the new lease program they were advertising. I was in today because of a rear light that was out on my CC Passat that I purchased about 2 weeks ago. I purchased a certified car and was about to have the 30,000 mile check when the service guy told me i CC Passat that I purchased about 2 weeks ago. He could have easily made 300.00 off of me today but he only charged me 25.00 for the bulb that was changed. I am an eternal West Chicago Volkswagen customer. And I even drive over an hour for the service. Thanks West Chicago Volkswagen service department. You Rock!!!! More

I had a problem with a severe water leak in my 2009 Jetta Sportwagen's sunroof. The car was recently out of warranty due to mileage, but only two years old. I have to comment about my experience at Fox Valley Volkswagen West Chicago. I had been looking at the cc Passat sport sedan each time I came in for service for my 2007 Passat. This was the second vehicle I have purchased from Fox Valley Volkswagen West Chicago and I am very happy!!! I must say that car purchases can be scary because you never know what the bank will say. They did an excellent job for me. I was in for service and drove home in the car of my dreams!! I never looked at Volkswagen until I started working with this dealership. They assured of the quality and any questions or concerns I had they were always willing to help me!! I have to give a shout out to Ed Howell, Dwayne Campbell,Pete and the Service department!! We were inadvertently overcharged for our labor charge which we had no idea about nor would we have by looking at the bill. The service director Larry Cohen told us, via a letter, that he routinely revie which we had no idea about nor would we have by looking at the bill. The service director Larry Cohen told us, via a letter, that he routinely reviews the bills and noticed an overcharge. With the letter, he enclosed a check for a refund for the overcharge within just a couple of days of us picking up our car. We appreciate this dealer's honesty with their mistake. This could have been just overlooked with their pockets being a little heavier and ours a little lighter but this was not the case. I definitely would recommend them for your vw servicing needs. Good service pricing compare with other VW dealer. They service my jetta there couple times. Only one time had oil leak problem; however, Dave took care the problem right away. In my most recent experience at Fox Valley Volkswagon I had service done on mini-van. The brakes were making a terrible noise. When I brought the car in I received a wonderful loaner car to drive while my had service done on mini-van. The brakes were making a terrible noise. In the end they told me I didn't need new brakes at all, but suggested to me how I could get rid of the accumulated brake dust that was making it noisy. I appreciate the HONESTY I received at Fox Valley Volkswagon about the condition of my brakes. They could have easily told me I needed new brakes and I would have gone ahead and had the work done. Often I feel vulnerable taking a car in for service because it is so foreign to those of us who don't know about cars, but I feel confident that the service done at Fox Valley is with honesty and integrity.
