Stopped into Boucher VW of Racine on a whim last fall to check out the Atlas and met Scott for the first time. He as very personable and by no means stereotypically salesy. My kids were with me and my wif check out the Atlas and met Scott for the first time. He as very personable and by no means stereotypically salesy. My kids were with me and my wife, and he just rolled with it -- no problem at all. We test drove an Atlas as a family and then went home. No hard sell from Scott or anything like that. Months later after spending several weeks chasing another make and model of SUV (and interacting with stereotypical dealership staff at many other dealers), my wife and I "woke up," asked ourselves why we were settling for unprofessional and often disrespectful behavior. That is when I reached back out to Scott. Within a week we had been back to the dealership, test driven another Atlas and, with Scott's help, understood which trim level would work best for us -- and this is where the story gets amazing. Scott helped us realize that we were looking for a used SE 4motion (AWD) with technology trim package. The Racine store didn't have any used Atlases with this trim package, but the Janesville store did. Since we wanted to look at multiple vehicles with this trim package, Scott offered to drive out to the Janesville store, test drive the vehicles with us and complete the purchase there. So, last Saturday, Scott and I each drove (in a snow storm) out to the Janesville store. He seamlessly worked with the sales manager and the finance manager (who he does not work with regularly, if ever) as if he was right at home in the Racine store. Anyway, made the purchase and am very pleased. Working with Scott was enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, professional, and simply helpful every step of the way. At a key moment in the purchase negotiation he said, "I am not here to say no to you. My job is to help you ask for what you want. We ask and the sales manager responds." For me, hearing that was extremely helpful because even though I know Scott has a job to do, he created an environment in which I felt comfortable actually asking for what I wanted while attempting to meet my pricing goals. I met my pricing goals and purchased the vehicle we wanted. Scott was a pleasure to work with, and I would not hesitate to work with him again. More
After arriving for my scheduled appointment and finding that Sarah had called in, Mitch Mink stepped in to help me and was awesome! Mechanical work was good. But to find oil all over my garage floor the next day is unacceptable. Had to leave work to bring car back in. Chris did take good care of me when I returned. In August of 2020 I traded in my Kia lease and bought a used Veloster Turbo, it was such a fun car and I was so excited! Sarah has been my go to for the last 2 cars there. Well, 15 days into my ownership t used Veloster Turbo, it was such a fun car and I was so excited! Sarah has been my go to for the last 2 cars there. Well, 15 days into my ownership the veloster started having problems, I took it to the service dept. and they took care of me. Then another problem, same thing brought it in and they took care of me, then again. Keep in mind it was a used car and I declined the warranty because of the ridiculous cost, if I wanted to pay that I would have gotten a newer car! But, never once did they deny me help. After the last problem I took it to them in October and they gave me a loaner car. Clay took the best care of me. I am so happy with all the help I received from Boucher. It turns out the Veloster was a real lemon and after months of trying to fix it, the decision was made for me to go get a different vehicle. I am back into another Kia lease and couldn't be happier. I will NEVER buy another used car again. HUGE shout out to this dealership and Hyundai in Waukesha for also helping. This recent Kia lease makes my fourth car from this dealer and I will continue to do business with them forever. Need someone to tell you what dealership to go to? I'll tell you. It's THIS ONE. So just stop looking. Ask for Sarah. She will take care of you. See you in 3 years for a new lease, or sooner for a car for my husband!
