Misguided information The salesperson and manager both tried hiding the fact that the truck I was going to purchase was damaged in a hail storm. I drove 450 mile round trip The salesperson and manager both tried hiding the fact that the truck I was going to purchase was damaged in a hail storm. I drove 450 mile round trip to pick up the truck I was going to buy, after the paper work was done over the phone on a Saturday I was headed on Monday to pick the truck up. I put a size-able down payment on the truck and was assured that the truck had never had any hail damage. I stated to Kienan that if it has recieved any that it would be a deal breaker. He again assured me that three salesmen had looked at it and it had none. He also told me that the truck was on the opposite end of the ;to when the hail hit in Lubbock. He then told me after the deal was made over the phone the the truck was detailed and parked inside so that it would be ready on Monday. I left my home at 5:30 in the morning and arrived in Lubbock at 10:30am I received a call from Kienan and he asked where I was, I told him about 10 minutes away from the dealership. He told me that I should go eat first because it had sprinkled and that they were detailing my truck again(contradiction of the statement that the truck was in a garage. I then said I want to pick up the truck and get back to my hometown. Upon arriving at the dealership, I drove to the body shop and noticed the truck was in the bay, so I got down walked in and asked the person standing by the truck if that truck had hail damage, he replied YES. I then walked out of the body shop and saw Kienan. I asked him why he lied to me and made me drive 300 mile when I told him in our very first conversation that I did not want a vehicle that had been in a hail storm. He agin said there were only a couple of dents. I later found out that the truck had been in two hailstorms and that it had approximately 10 or more dents. I drove 450 plus miles round trip to be lied to and the fact that my time fuel milage and wear and tear on my vehicle was caused by a dishonest salesman and manager (didn't get his name). A very bad reflection on Frank Brown GMC Truck Ranch. I did get my security deposit back, I should have actually been reimbursed for the trip and my time to drive a 500 mile round trip and my time. Very disappointed. More
I bought my car in round rock, tx and prefer the service at that dealership. They not only rotate your tires and do a quick wash they actually check the fluids. Tony helped me from start to finish. After already replacing and alternator and battery my pilot was still having a charging issue. Tony made sure to check the entire vehicle to find the problem. Only issue ended up being bad terminals which he replaced. A 2.50 cent part and $100 labor and I was on my way. Most repair shops would have told me it needed another alter And battery. Thanks Tony!
