He was not the pushy salesman type of guy, but rather a very nice Christian guy! He didn't just give us a sales pitch, but instead he gave us a friendly welcome. Some people are all business when it comes to trying to sell a car, but Alex talked to us about his family, our family, church, etc. It was by far the best visit we have ever had to a delearship!! Alex is the reason we decided to purchase our car from Fletcher Auto instead of looking around at other delearships. Worst maintenance shop I've ever dealt with. Passing through Joplin driving home from a funeral. My Dodge Ram 1500 suffered a broken valve spring, a significant internal engine failure. This part Passing through Joplin driving home from a funeral. My Dodge Ram 1500 suffered a broken valve spring, a significant internal engine failure. This particular year of Ram pickups were notorious for broken valve springs. I told the service rep, "It's a broken valve spring. I don't know which cylinder. I'm on a road trip and don't have the tools to fix it myself." It literally took Fletcher mechanics ELEVEN DAYS to change a valve spring!!! Then they improperly installed the valve cover resulting in a major oil leak that would've destroyed the engine if a motorcyclist hadn't flagged me over for blowing oil all over him. Now I wouldn't trust Fletcher mechanics to check the air in my tires. Almost forgot....the Service Manager tried to tell me the problem was caused by water in the gas, I should find a new gas station. The fool didn't even know that Dodge had a service bulletin for those valve spprings. And at no time would gas, or even a gas/water mix ever come in contact with a valve spring! They treat their customers like idiots. More
