I’m Sure I Dodged A Bullet!!! Disappointed in the low quality of initial service, poor communication and amateur sales experience displayed by the salesman, Ray Bosquez with Frank Kent Cadillac. I am from the Dallas area and recently moved to another state for work; however, I wanted to travel back to town to purchase a new 2023 Cadillac Escalade from this dealership and have it shipped back to my home. When I initially made contact with Ray Bosquez I communicated all of these details to him about the vehicle and my plans to fly in over the weekend to purchase. I expressed that my goal was to set up an appointment with him and understand everything that I needed to do prior to making travel arrangements and booking my flight. I made sure he was aware that I had been looking for this vehicle for a while and had already received a check from my bank, navy federal, for financing which would make the process quick and easy. Upon receiving all of this information, Ray Bosquez, confirmed all sounded good and that I just needed to let him know time of arrival once my travel arrangements were made. So, I contacted Ray the next morning to follow up and make sure there was nothing else I needed to do prior to making travel plans, he only stated I needed to send him a copy of my insurance. I told him I would do that and proceed to book my flight, I then forwarded him all of the details and set the appointment for my arrival. So, fast forward to about 3 hours later I receive a phone call from Ray Bosquez stating that he forgot to tell me that I would have to use their financing since I am an out of state customer, I told him that I have never experienced that before because being that I move around for work I have purchased from other dealerships using financing from my bank before without any issues, he mentioned that this was something that ONLY this dealership does. I was frustrated and furious because I communicated all specifics to him and asked if there was anything I needed to do prior to making travel arrangements, so at this point you have FAILED as a salesman and Inconvenienced me as a buyer. Also, I may have been open to adjusting my plans and using their financing; however, all of this was communicated without any apology for failing to tell me what I think is essential information for the buyer and the fact that I was traveling in from out of state. This is very disappointing being that I am a loyal Cadillac customer and from the area. I would not recommend Ray Bosquez or Frank Kent Cadillac… Do Better! More
This is purely a review about a service associate there, Kevin. We've taken our Cadillac there for service since we purchased the car 3 years ago and have had no issues. Recently, we had an issue with the c Kevin. We've taken our Cadillac there for service since we purchased the car 3 years ago and have had no issues. Recently, we had an issue with the car and had to bring it in; car wouldn't turn on. Had towed to dealership on Friday and wasn't alerted until we called in the following Tues to check status that it was the starter and they don't have a part. And Kevin informed us that we also needed a new battery; total for both was over $1K. We were quoted 1 hour to put a starter in from a Cadillac service rep, which equates to $196. Then they quoted over $450 for a new battery and that we wouldn't get the car back for another 3 days. We ended up being able to find a starter and a mechnanic that would install because we needed our car back sooner. We called back Wed and told Kevin we were going to get the car towed. Miraculously, Kevin now had the starter. We already know prices are inflated at the dealership and completely understand that and were ready to pay for the starter and installation, but to be lied to and be without our car when Kevin had the part is beyond unacceptable. We accepted Kevin being able to install the starter, then he told us that he could't test it without us buying a new battery from them. We found a battery for almost half the price and brought it to Kevin to test. Writing this for all to be aware of this specific service associate at this dealership; completely untrustworthy and because of him, the dealership has lost our business. We do not want to do business any place that employs people that do business like that. More
Our Xt4 with 28,000 miles was taken to service for. a bad strut under warranty. Like the adviser made sure all got done properly and found a bad cv axle boot and repaired at the same time without questi a bad strut under warranty. He made the extra effort to make sure everything was covered under factory warranty and discussed with me before making the necessary repairs as recommended by Cadillac. More
