Competent, efficient service I expect and appreciate good service on my Acura vehicles. I previously owned a 2001 MDX (over 195,00miles) and currently own a 2013 RDX (20,000 mile I expect and appreciate good service on my Acura vehicles. Oil Service I come to Acura for free oil services as part of my vehicle purchase. I know they have made notes on my file regarding recommendations and the fact that I have repairs done elsewhere. There are two reasons I did not submit "excellent" in my review. My first concern is a current noise that's been ongoing for several months that another facility said is the hub bearing but Acura said is the intermediate shaft if I remember correctly. I brought my records and inquired that both bearings had been noted as a concern on my Acura records and one was recently replaced. I trust both facilities but cannot afford an incorrect repair or a 3rd opinion. My second concern is that on my last visit I was told the maintenance light needs to be on at the time I bring my car in for the free oil change. The "reset oil life" message was on the morning of my oil service but I pushed the knob to clear it so I could see my odometer and verify it was time for an oil service. My odometer was within 200 miles of the Acura reminder sticker. Due to my profession of food delivery, I usually drive that many miles in 2 days and I work long hours so I have to take advantage of time off work. I also have to reset my mileage daily for work to track miles for tax purposes. For those reasons I feel it would be nearly impossible to bring my car in for service while the maintenance indicator is on. I am willing to take a picture when it does come on so it is dated and timed for me to show the service department at my next visit. The lifetime free oil change was a perk when I was deciding on making my car purchase from Saturn. It was an important factor when I calculated the overall cost and savings. I have not nor will I abuse this benefit by bringing my car in ahead of schedule. My time is as valuable as the technicians who perform this free service. More

Knowledge is king, and Springfield Acura holds the crown. Most repair shops in the Springfield area claim that they can service Acura's as good if not better than the dealership for less money. Don't trust anyone, no matter how big they are or how many billboards they may have around town, to servicing your Acura. It's a finally tuned performance automobile. Treat it right, and it never let you down. This is coming from someone that has 200k plus miles on an MDX and it always has been serviced at an authorized Acura service center and always will be. I Don't know if they were trying to get me To pay, or if both times really were an accident. I have always liked the service dept at this dealership, But was less than impressed with sales and Will never buy another car there. More

Service For My Acura My check engine light came on, so we made & appointment with Laura to bring it in & have it checked out. They found that a sensor with code po141 My check engine light came on, so we made & appointment with Laura to bring it in & have it checked out. They found that a sensor with code po141 was bad. They ran the function test & found it failed the test & was indeed bad. Laura told us they would have to order the part in but could have it the next day so we stayed in Springfield that night (WE live in Jefferson City, Mo.)& the next morning the part was there. They installed it right away as she had promised & we were able to be on our way. Being able to get the part the very next morning was very important to us. They also offered to loan us a car, but we didn't take it as the wait time was not going to be that long. We appreciated the offer in case we would have had something we needed to take care of. More
