Internet sales manager Mark Becker says he has the model I wanted, and takes a $500 deposit. So far, so good, so I book my flight to get there and pick the car up in 8 days. Don't hear anything for the next week, despite multiple phone calls and emails asking for the VIN number. Finally call the sales manager, he says they don't have any Ridgelines of that model in stock and can't get one for 60 (!) days. He basically tells me that I'm out of luck and does nothing to fix the flight cost, try to locate a truck, or anything else. I'm really upset at this point, and tell them I want the $500 refunded. I call Honda of Columbia across town, they locate the model I want at another dealer in less than a day, get it shipped to them, and I buy the car that weekend. Given that this was a very easy transaction (cash, no trade in, no options, etc), can't believe that Breakaway Honda messed up this bad. The fact that another dealer in the same town easily got this done is the final straw. More

Sweet and Simple No Hassles I saw my van on-line, drove over and took a look. Negotiated by text with the salesman and purchased it that same evening.
