What a great experience! Ask for Tonya Walker I was looking to purchase a first car for my son to learn to drive on. I am a single mom with a small budget and limited knowledge of autos. I did my research online and knew I wanted a used Toyota or Honda (solid, safe, reliable car for my son). I went to a couple of other dealerships first and they were more interested in making the sale than meeting my needs. I wouldn't let anyone drive some of the vehicles they showed me. Then, I went to Fred Anderson Toyota. Tonya greeted me upon arrival and actually listed to what I had to say. She showed me a few vehicles that were on the website, then decided to get a car and drive around the lots to see what we could find. If we pulled up to something that was in the price range, but wasn't exactly up to the standard I was looking for, she didn't even let me out of the car to waste my time. She understood that this was to be a car my teenage son would be driving, and if it wasn't something she wouldn't be willing to buy for her teenage daughter, it was out of the question. Never once did she try to sell me something I didn't want or need. We arrived back at the main building with no real prospects. She gave me her card and asked if she could have my information in the event that something came in that met my needs. She was willing to allow me to walk out the door without any sort of "used car salesperson" lines ... Like, "what can we do to get you in a car today." I actually felt really good about that. It was then that the sakes manger reminded her of a vehicle that came in the day before and hadn't even been checked out yet. It was more car than I thought was in my budget (newer than anything I had seen elsewhere & in better shape). I was hesitant, but took a look anyway. It was exactly what I needed, but I knew would be out of my price. They never tried to upsale me, or make me go over my budget. They offered it to me for a great price ... Which was well below what they could have gotten for it. Tonya & I took a test drive. She helped me to feel comfortable in my decision without ever selling me. I signed the paperwork that evening. Tonya stayed in touch with me over the next day while the car was inspected and detailed. She even handed me the key when I picked it up. I want to say thank you to the sales manger for helping a single mom stay within her budget! I want to thank the business manager who did all of my paperwork and made the process smooth! Most of all, I want to tank Tonya for helping me through this entire process, for never making me feel "sold" (and I'm a salesperson by trade so I know what it is like), for helping to meet all of my needs, for putting my priorities first, for making my son one surprised & thrilled kid, and for making me an uber cool mom ... Well, for however long that lasts! More

Actually visiting the dealer was for the sole purpose of test-driving to see if it was a good fit for us. We were down-sizing from a larger minivan so we rather expected some culture shock. There are, of course, some concessions with this kind of change, but none we couldn't live with. The improved gas mileage will be an easy adjustment! Thanks to Mr Johnson for his assistance. He was very knowledgeable and even went so far as to set up my phone for the hands-free bluetooth option. We would heartily recommend both Mr Johnson and Fred Anderson Toyota. More
