Where do I begin.....My husband and I are from a rural area, and have had very few positive experiences when dealing with salespeople from the city. I have reported one business to the Better Business B area, and have had very few positive experiences when dealing with salespeople from the city. I have reported one business to the Better Business Bureau, several businesses no longer receive our money as part of their revenue, so these statements would probably mark us as "hard to please" customers. And yet, Brian Glasshof was able to gain our confidence and win our trust, and managed to sell us a quality vehicle at a fair price. Honesty and value go a long way in our book, and my husband, James and I , feel that is what Brian Glasshof delivered the day he sold us our 2011 Tacoma pick-up truck. My husband has bought Ford vehicles for over 40 years and this is his first Toyota. That, in itself, is quite a feat. More
In light of the recent news with Toyota vehicles, I entered this dealership with hesitation. I was greeted by Brian Glasshof in a non-agressive manner and was quickly put to ease. Brian's sales skills go above and beyond what past dealership experiences have been. He presents himself if a non-threatening manner (which is helpful being a female)and appears to "really" care about his client. This gentleman not only helped me to achieve my goal of obtaining a car (since my vehicle had been totaled in a car wreck), but also made sure that the vehicle I chose was best fitted for me. The best question he asked was "which car do you love?". This approach is by far the most successful for female patrons (we do change our minds alot!). Thank you Brian for making the purchase of my Toyota Corolla a pleasant experience. Due to this salesman's kind and gentle manner, I will be a repeat Toyota customer. More

Mathew was an excellent salesman. I would definately recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a used or new vehicle. They were fast and courtiuos. Financing was very smooth as well. The people at Toyota of Charleston aare the best group of folks I have ever worked with when it comes to buying a car. When I visited the remarkable Toyota of Charleston Dealership on Hwy. 17 in Charleston in February 2011, I was there on a crucial mission. I needed to buy a four-wheel drive vehicle, FAST! My mom had died suddenly, leaving my elderly step-dad, alone, snowed-in, and in very poor health, in a remote rural area of the North Georgia Mountains. His life depended on me, being able to drive through ice and snow, to get to him quickly. With tears in my eyes, I walked through the door of Toyota of Charleston, hoping that I could afford a car that would enable me to rescue my stranded dad. I ha a modest amount of money to make the purchase, because I work in the education field. I worried about how long it would take me to transact a complicated purchase And I worried about whether or not a dealership on the coast, would even have a four-wheel drive vehicle for icy road condition, for sale! Miraculously,salesperson, Avon Bailey, Used Car Manager, Joey, Service manager, Heather Parker and Financial Manager, Chris Fitzgerald (along with receptionist Michele), helped me find the right car, for the right price..and all, within a few short days. The story has had a happy ending..because I drove successfully through terrible weather, to my step-dad, who is now safe. We are both more grateful to the wonderful staff at Toyota of Charleston than we can adequately express! Thank you! More
I purchased a truck from here and they failed to disclose that my truck had been in a serious accident. I found out about a month after the purchase that the truck was in a serious accident; vehicle was hit that my truck had been in a serious accident. Brent was VERY honest on the phone when I asked questions, and even went as far as taking extra pics to send me before I made the trip there to look at the truck for my son's Christmas. I had alrea questions, and even went as far as taking extra pics to send me before I made the trip there to look at the truck for my son's Christmas. I had already got the run around with Dodgeland in Cola. with poor pics and a trip for nothing. No pressure sales is what got me, class act sales staff. Brent gave me time to talk with my wife on the phone alone and even to look at the truck alone as well. He even left late on his own vacation to finish the sale with me. This was the 12th truck I had looked at in less than 3 days and I knew if the pics were correct it was the one I wanted before making the trip. We are a Toyota family with 3 trucks now after just selling our 1995 T-100 which the 2004 Tacoma replaced for my son. My wife drives a 2007 4-Runner from James Irvin in Camden, and I drive a 2008 Tundra. My Tundra came from Toyota Center in West Cola. I'm glad I made the trip to Charleston, great truck and a great Christmas gift for my son. James Irvin had one I was looking at as well but they did NOT call me as I asked several times in emails....They just don't listen to the customer. Brent did. Thanks again Brent for a job well done.
