Good Afternoon, I'm Gerald Turner. I am the General Manager of the dealership. ?My Dealership participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. I am concerned that your issue was not addressed as it should have been. As these come across with only an email adress, I do not know who the person is. I would like to look into the particulars of the situation and resolve it the best I can. Feel free to email me directly at Gturner@mccafferty.com. Let me know the name the car was under and who we sent the collection notice to.

Good day , I sincerely appreciate your bringing this to my attention. I know that Brenda Webber, who is the Sales Manager at Kia; has emailed as she wants to help with this issue. I will also use this information so that others may not have a similar experience. Is there something I can do to help? Thanks Gerald Turner General Manager

In essence, I'd love to have gotten the truck. I've been looking for months for this truck. Something with low enough mileage but old enough to be both dependable and affordable. My income is high enough - my DTI is low enough, I could go down to the Ford lot and pick out a new one, but I don't want the extra debt. This truck really sells itself. I think the offer I gave was more than fair... I even think the counter offer was doable. The salesman wanted a "yes" before we ever stepped out of the test drive, and all we gave was a cautiously optimistic "maybe". From that point forward it seemed like it was too much trouble. He never listened to us. He never explained to us why the numbers wouldn't work. After we went to eat, and were headed back to the dealership, I called him to let him know we were going for some cold medicine then back to the dealership - first thing he said was, something like, "We could only get you down to '$xxx' then he was gone. Not sure if he hung up on us or we just got disconnected - but he didn't bother to call us back, so we went home. The biggest problem is lack of communication. If the salesman says, "Look, your trade in this market is a tough sell. We're doing all we can do to give you this price and these terms, but really, it's the best we could do.", then I'd have been sold. All I heard was the constant, "If I can make the numbers work, will you get it?" and then a lack of "making the numbers work." He never once picked up the phone - and he took the numbers. A good salesman connects with the client on a personal level. The car/truck will sell itself if it's the right fit. Treat me like a human being and not a cash cow waiting to be milked and I might be back in 4 years for another new one. Blow me off because your commission's not going to be high enough and I might get ticked off and spread the word. I am going to delete this review, because I was in the wrong frame of mind when I left it. For one, it has too many details. All valid, in my own mind, but too much for public consumption. I will give it some time and thought and I might put a new, softer review in. It really wasn't a critique of the dealership itself, but more of a complaint about the salesmanship.
