I did not have a good experience at Freeman Toyota Service Center. They did a diagnostic on my car, which I paid for. Then I let my long-time mechanic look at it. He finally decided that he couldn't f Service Center. They did a diagnostic on my car, which I paid for. Then I let my long-time mechanic look at it. He finally decided that he couldn't fix it, so I called back the service rep. I specifically asked him if the original offer that my $240 diagnostic bill would be credited was still good. He assured me that it would be, so I brought it in. A few days later when I went to pick up my car, I noticed that there was no $240 credit on the bill. He said something about checking his computer. When he came back, he gave me a bunch of bull about a $100 coupon I'd used and that they could have charged me more because usually that repair took longer. I gave him a piece of mind, but I was in a hurry to leave. The next day I called the service sales manager and told him what happened. After checking the bills on his computer, he immediately, without any pushback, said that he'd send me a check to cover the diagnostic charge. That looks to me as if they do this on a regular basis because a certain percentage of people will not question a bill or stand up for themselves. Everybody expects a dealer service center to pad the bill, but this was straight-up lying and trying to cheat me. I don't appreciate it and will never come back. In fact, because of this experience, I will not buy a car from Freeman. Even though when I bought the car six years ago, I had a good experience. More
