I’ve never felt more gaslit and condescended in buying a car than I did when I reached out to Freeman Toyota to inquire about a Tacoma. This is on top of flat out lying to me. This dealership legitimately creeped me out - and I don’t say that lightly. We have lots of options when buying cars these days - especially a Toyota. Please go to a dealership that treats you with respect, actually listens to what you’re saying, and doesn’t make you feel like an idiot for asking questions. Plus - find a dealership that tells the truth - which apparently Freeman does not understand. Side Note - you’ll probably get an auto-email from the General Sales Manager “B.J.” It will say that if you have any issues in the car buying process, to contact him directly. Here’s what it doesn’t say - when you reach out to B.J. to express your concerns - his emails seem to be screened by the very people who treated you badly in the first place. And, they get really upset with you for expressing that to B.J. One guy (Samuel Scarlett) even told me that I needed to respect the chain of command. At a car dealership. After treating me like garbage. Yeah - no thanks. Talk about having an inflated self-worth. Again, to my followers and supporters - please do not shop at this Toyota dealership. They treated me terribly and I don’t want the same thing to happen to you. More
