We will be in the market to replace my wife's 2010 Venza in a year or two and we're thinking probably a 4 Runner. (She won't give up the Venza easily...) 4: I was disappointed at being quoted $230 to replace a Blower Motor Resistor, especially when I identified what had to be done in the first place. $190 for the diagnostic and $40 for the part was out of line - perhaps a 5 minute job. Many shops do the diagnostic for free and charge for the labor & part, I was expecting around $100-$125. Now I'll get the part online , watch a YouTube and do it myself or take to a local garage for around $80. My long-time dealer in Chicago would have found a way to make it less costly. You missed a chance to build some "goodwill" with a potential new car buyer. Chris was the highlight. Thanks for listening! More
The work they did was good, but tried to charge extra on oil change cause the oil filter was a little tighter than they liked.
