I would like to start off by stating that I have purchased a vehicle from this dealership before. Great place to buy. I went into the dealership about 1 1/2 weeks ago to see about purchasing a Bra purchased a vehicle from this dealership before. Great place to buy. I went into the dealership about 1 1/2 weeks ago to see about purchasing a Brand New 2011 Tahoe. I met with one sales person to go over pricing on the new car. He brought out his manager (heavy set guy / beard with tattoos on arms). He was about 27/28 yrs old. We could not come to an agreement on trade in value and pricing on new car. The manager then proceeds to tell me he can sell me a 2004 Yukon for about $14k. Mind you, I came in for a 2011 Tahoe. Why on earth would I want to buy a 2004 Yukon (wrong year, wrong model, wrong color & USED!). He did not even take the time to look at my 2003 Tahoe. Then proceeded to get up, shook my hand and started to walk away. As he is walking about, still looking back and talking to me and letting me know when I am ready to buy, to come back as he is heading off to meet with another possible buyer. I have say, a little disrespected on his part. Given that I am a customer, wanting/willing to buy, would not put in the effort to take the time look at my car and negotiate on price. About a week later, I get a call from Dennis (Fleet sales person). He is the original person I went into see, but was with another customer at the time. He wanted to call me to see if he could earn my business. He checked around to see if they had a Tahoe that met my needs. He ended up finding a new 2011 Tahoe that I was looking for. We ended up making the deal happen and I bought the vehicle. Now, come to find out, after all the negotiating, dealing and buying, their sister dealership (Chapman), had the car advertised for $2000.00 less on the internet than what the price I was given. Although I ended up getting the car for a little less than that advertised price, I was negotiating off of a price $2k ($37k+) more and should of been negotiating off of a advertised price ($35k+). At the end, I do feel that I was taken for about $2000.00 more than what I should have paid. I would love if Freeway Chevrolet came back to me after this survey and handed me a check for $2000.00 That would be HUGE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! For my records, I did take the time to print off the Chapman advertised internet price. More

Ok so Ive been to this place twice to get an oil change, first time they did awesome and took care of me. The second time however was awful. not only did i have to look around to find someone when i initial first time they did awesome and took care of me. The second time however was awful. not only did i have to look around to find someone when i initially got there i sat for 3 hrs waiting for the tech to come get me and tell me if anything else needs to be done to the car aside from its done with its oil change and inspection, and its going thru the wash dealie. So when i finally say something to one of the guys in an office he was helping not only me but another customer art the same time. I have spent a good portion of time in customer service, when a customer is annoyed with a 3 hr wait attend to him first not the other guy who came up after you asked for help, bad form. Later on this guy gives me the what they did with the car spiel and says im due for my 35,000 mile maintence, when i asked how much he gave me a quote for 500 which isn't bad but with the service i got i was kinda shocked he didn't want to offer any sort of discount for anything in the future. Will i go back to freeway Chevrolet? maybe, they are close to where i live but then again so is Chapman Chevy which is part of their family and i have been there before, service was so so but at least they didn't leave me waiting for 3 hrs More

Went to Express Oil section for an oil change. No employee in sight to take info, There were two customers infront of me that also were waiting. After waiting about 10 minutes for help I went to the employee in sight to take info, There were two customers infront of me that also were waiting. The reason for my visit to the delership was for routine maintenance. This was the first time I tried a weekend visit and was very pleased with the ease at check in and speed that the work was completed. I maintenance. I used to do this type of maintenace by myself or at local vendors who perform simple maintenace procedures: i.e. oil changes. But , I have had some undesirable service performed by the vendors, such as insufficent oil added, air filters installed incorrecrtly, and even an oil plug that was hand tight. Since I started to use Freeway Chevrolet's service department I have never had any problems. I have always found the service representitives friendly and knowledgeable, the waiting area clean and my car has always been returned to me washed and clean. More
Since I live out of town (425 mi.), I wanted to be sure my service visit would go smoothly. Roger Young 'bent over backwards' to be sure I got in and out in a timely manner and had all my questions anbd co my service visit would go smoothly.
