Problem was not fixed! In the past they have been great, recently not so much. My service truck has been in the shop for almost 3 weeks this month for the same problem with In the past they have been great, recently not so much. My service truck has been in the shop for almost 3 weeks this month for the same problem with no confidence in repair. On the sales side, I’ve instructed them to find me a new truck and give me a solid fair number for mine, no response. Needless to say I’m moving on to another dealership, it’s really too bad because I’ve boughten several vehicles from them and my service has always been done there including buying tires for the 4 cars/trucks I own, they don’t recognize a loyal customer and they sure don’t seem to take care of them. Finance department is great! More
Back Door Lock - A mystery why it wouldn't lock! My Escape had an issue with the locking system for the back hatch. Tyler was diligent in trying to figure out why the door wouldn't latch. Good, but better if I had a squealing noise that needed fixin', and I trust the dealership technicians, so I continue to take my truck to Freeway Ford. On this occasion, I had a squealing noise that needed fixin', and I trust the dealership technicians, so I continue to take my truck to Freeway Ford. On this occasion, I made an appointment on-line, which allows for choices of date and time. Once I made the appointment and added all the data (name, phone, email) the system said it was complete. Here's the "better if" - I never received an email confirmation of the appointment. I had to call the service department to confirm the appointment myself, which defeats the purpose of making an on-line appointment. A simple email confirm stating that the appointment was made and some basic info would have been comforting for me to receive. I'm sure the appointment system has that feature, please start using it. Otherwise, the appointment was fine, no issues, Tyler spent time explaining the repair to me, and met me afterwards to talk about the parts warranty. The price of the repair was high, but I expect that from a dealer service center. I also expect it to be fixed to manufacturers standards and with Ford parts and a warranty for the parts, so you get what you pay for. Thanks! More
