I do ALL my vehicle maintenance here. On this visit I needed only an oil change which had been purchased last Fall in a package. I asked them to note the conditions of the brakes because I thought they w needed only an oil change which had been purchased last Fall in a package. After the initial inspection, the service advisor told me that I need more maintenance on more than just brakes. I was shocked at the estimated cost he gave me. The brakes alone he estimated at $800. The price listed on the wall in the service office is $149 per axel. Where does the $800 figure come from? In addition, he suggested shocks & struts with estimates of $780 rear and $580 front. There were other minor maintenance issues also. I asked for any maintenance discounts for any needed repairs and was told there are no discounts. In prior service visits, the advisor usually finds me a maintenance special coupon or discount. I see how much you appreciate my business! So much for being a loyal customer! I got opinions and estimates from other maintenance facilities. For the first time, I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for maintenance. I'll only return for the final oil change I already paid for in the package. More
Overall we have never had an major issues. Sometimes though we take our vechiles in for one thing and the find out they need a bit more work. I stopped in after an oil change to ask about a problem with the sync system. He got me in right then and there and had the shuttle bring us to McD's while then looked at the car. About 30 min later they c with the sync system. He got me in right then and there and had the shuttle bring us to McD's while then looked at the car. About 30 min later they came to get us and said it was all fixed. It works great and it was so great to not have to come back later for another appointment since I was already there. Thanks guys. Bad battery discovered during oil change - had to push hard to get warranty coverage. A vehicle less than 2 years old with a bad battery? A paid extended warranty from your dealership and I have to argu hard to get warranty coverage. A vehicle less than 2 years old with a bad battery? Service would not drive my wife home when the vehicle had to be kept another hour for battery test. Apple & Shakopee Ford have given us free loaner vehicles for service issues, and we bought from you and can't get a ride. That's sad. More
I now have to wait for my 18" new tires (4); dealership thought my Edge was 17" - I will be going back on Wed. (2/22) to have the 18" New Tires installed. I would like to have a lifetime rotation on all tires, BUT ALSO ADD THE "HAZARD PACKAGE" included on these 18" expensive tires (to help cover the added inconvenience of returning to the dealership again). Originally, my visit on Monday, 2/20 was for a 37,500 mile check-up, oil change, and the install of the FOUR new tires. Pls. consider the upgrade for lifetime rotation and HAZARD PACKAGE. They failed to fix a problem during warranty period on multiple attempts and then when warranty period expired (even though I purchased best warranty offered) it was now my problem. Terrible service experiance throughout my warranty period and the staff (other than when I was buying) had no understanding of what a customer is. They do not want your business period. Mike Umlauf and the new sales manager should be fired. There are too many unemployed people who could do a better job out there. They also refused to give me any info on who their management was to get a better understanding on the issue. Pathetic is all I can say More
This dealership is top notch. They always explain what is wrong with my car and how they can fix it. Then they fix it in a timely manner and it stays fixed. The service writer was very helpful in explaining the diagnosis of the problems with my vehicle.
