After checking availability on 3 different 4-Runners @ 6pm Tuesday evening, I arrived at your dealership at 11 am Wednesday to Victor telling me "Yeah, they sold last night!" I should have turned around 6pm Tuesday evening, I arrived at your dealership at 11 am Wednesday to Victor telling me "Yeah, they sold last night!" I should have turned around right then and there and drove the 77 miles back home right then. The red metallic 2023, my first choice, had been there at least since June 8--the date on my printout. But I test drove 2 and decided on the 24 4 Runner with 31,000+ miles and a Selling Price of 47,900. The contract came back with 3 "Add-Ons"@$1995 each! Classic Bait & Switch (again). After walking away 3 times, Russell cut all but $995 he classified as "Misc". And paying cash required over an hour wait for the finance guy. I was transfering funds, taking 3 business days, but you submitted the check Friday and it bounced! Cost me $24. What a fiasco. This should have been an enjoyable experience, but it was not. More
Positive: -Dealership delivered the vehicle to me with full tank of gas and charge. -Price negotiation was brutal and immovable, but fair. Vehicle had been on the lot for 1 week. -Sales did not disclose that the vehicle required a replacement battery which was not available that day until after price negotiations were complete. -Finance department employee raised his voice at me because I had not disclosed a source of 7k of my payment until after 5pm on a Friday. I was using a DCAP grant of 7k which their dealership had applied for, been approved for, and was on my approved dealership list. I personally had to get DCAP on the phone to talk with Finance Department. -Ended up spending over 6 hours at the dealership after driving 3 hours, and had to drive 3 hours home with no vehicle. More
I had a great experience with Freeway Toyota. I was able to communicate my needs to Patreece and she got me into a vehicle the same day. A few days later I had a couple minor issues that needed to be taken care of and Vince in the service department was very helpful and got it taken care of. Had a great experience and would recommend 100%. More
