i have a 2016 Toyota Sienna that has about 230,000 miles on it. It had developed a noise coming from deep in the passenger front side. The front suspension had been largely replaced about 1 and 1/2 years pr on it. It had developed a noise coming from deep in the passenger front side. The front suspension had been largely replaced about 1 and 1/2 years prior at Freeway Toyota. The vehicle was in for a long overdue 140,000 mile check up. The mechanic at the dealership spotted a failure of an axle joint boot and the grease debris on the engine. A replacement was indicated. After the replacement, the noise became constant and the mechanic was able to localize it to the frame attachment of the passenger front strut. This also involved a bearing assembly. Replacement was recommended. Because this was a suspension related issue, the recommendation was to replace both the driver's and passenger's side assemblies. They did this and a front wheel alignment. When I got the vehicle out of the shop, the dramatic improvement in driving was wonderful. I really do appreciate the way that Mike Hathaway and his supervisor were willing to work with me to get the vehicle repaired. More
