So I make an Appt. to have known warranty work done on a new 2021 Chevy $57k mid size truck that has had a ton of problems. After being told on the phone directly by someone in service when I made the Appt. new 2021 Chevy $57k mid size truck that has had a ton of problems. After being told on the phone directly by someone in service when I made the Appt. that loaners and rentals are available, they tell me at the dealership there are no rentals or loaners until a 24hr waiting period after diagnosis. How does that help somebody that has known warranty problem (with already documented repeat issues) that depends on that vehicle for a 45 minute commute everyday? I waste an hour out of my work day to find this out, and this is the 3rd Chevy dealer to tell me this, wasting more of my time. This is how Chevrolet gets out of their warranty obligations and indirectly refuses warranty work. They know people rely on their vehicles for work or whatever, so they add in this 24 hour wait to be issued any type of rental or loaner to "diagnose," causing people to not be able or want to get the service, for need of their car. What exactly is there to diagnose on defective parts and poor performance on a car with 2000 miles? Did I build the car with defective seats, defective transmission, defective suspension, defective workmanship? No, I didn't, Chevrolet did, and any "representative" of any type of repair facility would be able to determine that within a small waiting period. I've owned probably over 50 cars, 11 of them new cars from 6 different manufacturers, and I have never had to wait more than 3 hours to get a diagnosis and be put into a rental or loaner (and most off the time, immediately). That's customer service, and Chevrolet is a joke compared. They can't back up the cars they sell, their dealerships are incompetent, the initial quality is among the worst, and this dealership service department takes the cake. To make my day even better, Fremont Chevrolet "operations manager" calls me up to figure out my problem and to lie to me about how other manufacturers are the same way. Complete and utter lie, because I've owned 6 other domestic and import manufacturers, and I have experienced nothing but solid customer service regarding warranty work or repair. It's amazing Chevrolet expects people to trust them with their new electrification of automobiles when they can't even stand behind and support a squeaky seat that drives occupants nuts, a f'ed up transmission that runs 250 degrees, and dangerous lack of feedback from accelerator (which are all electronically controlled). Moral of the story, and thanks for letting me tell you mine, is...buy another brand of vehicle, and certainly don't have it serviced at Fremont Chevrolet. They will waste your time, leave you without a vehicle while paying monthly for it, and call you to tell you in poor candor how you are wrong, they are right, and that's just how Chevrolet does things. Nothing about how can we make this right for you, which is really what customer service is all about. I hope Chevy sends me a survey for these guys. F- for the attempt Joshua More
I love chevys, but, Stay away from this chevrolet dealer. Liars, awful customer service, over priced work, excuses, excuses, excuses...They had my car for a month after I had was told the part for my car wou Liars, awful customer service, over priced work, excuses, excuses, excuses...They had my car for a month after I had was told the part for my car would be there in three days. The part didn't arrived for another 3 weeks. I was never contacted by my service adviser; I had to contact him to get an update on what was going on with my car. after they received the part for my car they took anther 4 day to fix my car. Per GM service manual the labor time to fix my car was 2.5 hours. (New fuel regulator and hose) after making several calls to ther service manager all he gave me was excuses on why fixing my car was taking so long to fix. He even told me that he has been in this business for 18 years and some times it take longer than expected. It became apparent to me that the Tech working on my car was not qualified to do the work that he was assigned. The service manager told me later, he had to get another tech to work on my car. I was then lied to, they told me, the oil change for my car would cost me $400.00. They charged me $634.00 for an oil change. I also told my serviece adviser NOT to wash my car appond pick up. they washed my car leaving swirls mark on it. after adviing the service manager of this, he did offer to put my car though his $200,000 car wash machine and polish it for me. This poor review could have been avoided if the service manager would have be upfront with me from the being, by returning my calls, letting me know what was realy going on with the Tech, and not over chargeing me for the oil change, and keeping me up to date. If I could give this dealership a; 0, I would. More
I just bought a Bolt from this dealership and I have very positive customer service experience. The guys there are good decent people. I suggest you to do your homework first before you go there and test d positive customer service experience. The guys there are good decent people. I suggest you to do your homework first before you go there and test drive the car you like. The price they put in the internet is not the final prices... and you still can negotiate in the dealership, unlike Tesla or Ford that you have to pay the internet price when you order online. Overall, I have a good experience and I highly recommend Fremont Chevrolet! More
Took my car in to diagnose an oil leak which they said fixed! After paying over 2000.00 for that fix, a week later it was leaking again. Took it back in and they wanted another 2600.00 to fix a problem th fixed! After paying over 2000.00 for that fix, a week later it was leaking again. Took it back in and they wanted another 2600.00 to fix a problem that should have been diagnosed the first time! They said that they would have to redo what was done the first time to fix the second problem! I felt like I was being taken, so I refused that service and now seeking a second opinion elsewhere! I've had the same problem with this dealership's service department before! More
