I took my 2500 RAM in for 2 recalls. The people were polite, but I didn't like having to leave my truck there all day. Took my car in because a code was popping up for my transmission. The same code PepBoys gave also. When taking my car to Dodge I did not think they would take advantage of my situation but they did. My service rep who was helping us with the car was stating the code was not being found. I picked my car up after they had it for over a week. The next day my check engine light returned and when I took it back the same code appeared again for my transmission. Instead, they fixed the axel the rep stated that was the problem, not the transmission. So my question is why did my diagnostic tool and Pep Boys diagnostic tool read the same code and when taking it to Dodge they could not see the same code? Now they want us to pay $4000.00 for a rebuilt transmission. I would never take my business to this company again they got 1500.00 out of me for an axel that could have waited then asked for another 4000.00 for a rebuilt transmission during the holidays. Bonuses must be booming for these reps. More
