***PSA*** Stay FAR FAR AWAY from Friendly Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Hamilton!!! Although our buying process was easy last year, our interactions with the service department have been HORRIBLE! My husba Jeep Ram of Hamilton!!! Although our buying process was easy last year, our interactions with the service department have been HORRIBLE! My husbands truck needed a new heater core just 2 months after purchase after breaking down on our way back from PA and having to be towed all the way home. We towed it right to Friendly and were told it was covered under warranty, but it took them FOREVER to get the work done. We got the truck back and a short while later had the same problems. Were told “oh the hoses must not have been hooked up right. All fixed now”. They clearly didn’t know what they were doing and we had to take the truck back 2 more times for heater core issues and they kept it longer and longer each time, but kept saying “they were waiting on parts” meanwhile it just sat on the lot. The service manager tells us “oh it’s common to have these issues over and over again, we replace heater cores all the time”… yeah right… Fast forward, I bring my Jeep Grand Cherokee L in for a routine oil change a few weeks ago (only the 2nd oil change since owning the vehicle& ordinarily wouldn’t have taken it in to a dealership for this but had a free oil change left) and I’m told “you need a right front wheel bearing”. Again, covered by warranty (minus $200 deductible). Get the car back, something is leaking and we can’t figure out what. Put it up on a jack and see that the shock/strut was broken during the service to “fix” the wheel bearing. I took my car elsewhere to get an honest opinion and come to find out now we need a right rear wheel bearing, new shocks (since they broke it during the first service), and tire rods. This service department is incredibly incompetent!! I called to get my $200 deductible refunded since they caused more damage when they worked on it and they didn’t even try to deny that they damaged the car!!! Only told me “you can bring it back and we’ll fix it”. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! They will NEVER be touching any vehicle my family owns EVER again!!! More
service personnel are ether just unprofessional or over worked and auto repair is the worst/ we have a vehicle since bought new with an issue. years later still not repaired, we received our vehicle back a worked and auto repair is the worst/ we have a vehicle since bought new with an issue. years later still not repaired, we received our vehicle back after having c/v shaft put in, only to find out it was damaged and need to be replaced, dropped vehicle off for that repair and a new power transfer unit. three weeks later we got our vehicle back, issue was still there, and it pulls to the right and had new vibration, lucky I own a lift put it up and was shocked, oil was everywhere, power transfer unit looks cracked, covered in oil, rear catalyst converter has had the support brace cut off which also is a vibration dampener to protect the exhaust manifold! prey bar marks all over that area. vehicle has an exhaust leak too, no new gaskets on exhaust and non-factory bolts used, rear drive shaft is damaged throwing grease under vehicle and on the exhaust system! we called to talk to owner or at least someone in charge, we were put in contact with mike Wilkerson going on vacation, so he sent us to William Crafton, he did call us and left message we returned his call left message for him to reach out to us, days later no contact has been made nor has the dealer reached out, they just do not care!I will file more complaints and contact different dealer to see what can be done this vehicle is still under warrantee! It will not go back to that repair shop! More
I can't say enough about the amazing experience—especially thanks to my sales consultant, Garin Thornton. From the very start, Garin met me exactly where I was. He understood my needs, r experience—especially thanks to my sales consultant, Garin Thornton. From the very start, Garin met me exactly where I was. He understood my needs, respected my budget, and guided me with realistic expectations, making the entire process easy and stress-free. Garin’s honesty, professionalism, and genuine care made a lasting impression. He explained everything clearly, stayed patient with my questions, and followed up after the sale to ensure I was fully satisfied. It felt like more than just buying a car—it felt like someone truly had my back. The entire team at Friendly Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has been just as outstanding. Every interaction, from purchase to service, has been timely, kind, and supportive. when finances are tight and time is limited, having a place like this to rely on is invaluable. More
Absolutely without a doubt the single worst dealership I have ever dealt with. My wife leased a 2024 wrangler and had it 4 days! It died in the parking lot at work $200 tow to the othe side of town. That wa have ever dealt with. My wife leased a 2024 wrangler and had it 4 days! It died in the parking lot at work $200 tow to the othe side of town. That was Feb. 15th, still no jeep. Replaced major electrical components several times with no solution in sight. Told jeep just take it back & get her another one. They refuse to replace or refund the purchase. “It’s Jeeps problem contact them” is the only response I’ve gotten from Friendly. More
I bought a used car from Friendly after parting with my leased Jeep. They are 40 min from me, but chose to go see them based on reviews and specials. The moment I drove that car off the lot I saw this plac leased Jeep. They are 40 min from me, but chose to go see them based on reviews and specials. The moment I drove that car off the lot I saw this place’s true colors. Window doesn’t work. Brakes they claimed to have replaced won’t stop making noise after 2 weeks of driving. Engine hesitates to accelerate. I called Friendly to address these issues and their first instinct is to refer me to the manufacturer. Finally, after 3 phone calls, they agree to have me come for service. An hour after getting there I’m told they’ll only fix the brakes and again refer me to the manufacturer. I engage Dave Reynolds, my salesman, and he basically tells me they don’t want to fix it because they don’t want the cost and because it’s not a brand they sell they aren’t reimbursed. I call a KIA dealer and they can’t get me in for a month. Dave tells me he will see what he can do and will engage his manager on duty, Ben. I am then left alone in the showroom waiting area for another hour on the promise he MIGHT be able to get me a promise of an earlier appointment at the KIA dealer. After no communication with Dave for over an hour I find him and other salesmen xx-ing in an office. I ask for an update and he tells me they’ll call me. I’m sorry but 2 weeks after driving a car off the lot that I now have 3 issues with and I’m supposed to leave with resolution of a phonecall? He tells me he can’t control when the dealership will call me. I then ask him if they’re refusing to fix the car they sold me with these issues. A car I had just signed the final paperwork on 3 hours prior when I got there. He denies that saying I need to go through KIA. I again ask why they’re refusing to at least fix the window as it was broken when I bought the car. At that point, a manager Ben says he will talk with service. This is the manager Dave told me he would engage 2 hours ago when I originally approached Dave about the service dept refusing to address my issues. He clearly had no clue until I found them all congregating in the office. Ben was also pushing me to go to KIA and refusing to take ownership of these issues on this car I just purchased. He asked me why I had been there so long as if I was there by choice wasting my entire afternoon. I then told Ben about my whole process of car buying with Friendly and he then changed his story saying the service manager told him the windows worked fine when it was inspected. When I asked to have the paperwork I had signed 3 hours prior back and to give him back the keys, Ben acted as if I was overreacting over a “simple window not working”. They would not take the car back and I left there with what I can only assume is an empty promise of a part being ordered for the window issue and even more pressure to wait a month to be seen by KIA. I do not and will not trust anything this dealership says. Once they have your money they do not stand by their product or their customers. I’ve made 3 trips to this dealer all for nothing when I could have given my business to an upstanding dealer more local to me. More
