His consummate knowledge and sincere care regarding my car's operation is industry gold standard, and his dedication to making sure everything is nothing less than perfect is his guiding principle. I am a thrilled owner of a Mustang Mach E, and a former owner of an Escape Hybrid, both purchases from Frontier Ford, and Leo is a major factor in my continued happy patronization of them. 2018 Ford Explorer Sport - took it to Frontier Ford for a recall related to the roof rack covers falling off. Their initial "solution" was to install TINY PLASTIC CLIPS. I walked out telling myself they were recall related to the roof rack covers falling off. Their initial "solution" was to install TINY PLASTIC CLIPS. I walked out telling myself they were going to fall off - just a matter of time. Sure enough, around a year later I drove in some windy conditions and the clips must've failed and one of my covers flew off before I realized it. Went back in to get them to replace the one that flew off and to do a more secure repair on the rail on the other side (the cover was still on, but all the clips were gone by this time). They WOULD NOT replace or even REPAIR the existing one even though it was a recall repair. I did some research online and found that a few months after the initial recall, they kept getting people coming in complaining about roof rail covers flying off and the clips falling off so they started doing what they should've done to begin with which was use screws instead of cheap plastic clips. Still I had to argue with my advisor (Jesus Labrada) over the course of a month (about 5 separate calls). He tried telling me Ford told him they wouldn't honor the repair despite the circumstances including it being a recall repair. He then tried to argue that because it had been just over a year that they wouldn't do it because recall repairs are only covered for a year. I told him I was going to file a report with the NHTSA for failure to fix the recall issue after their initial "fix" inevitably failed. Only then did he start to offer solutions. Ultimately Ford paid for the parts and the dealer covered the labor. He still had the nerve to tell me on the way out the door that they always stand behind their customers and that they "took care of me". Such xx. My wife and I just happened to be in the market for a large SUV to replace her GMC Terrain. We went with Chevy instead of Ford after this debacle. More
