Amazing sales team with prompt service. I came to Future Chevrolet hoping to see what was available and walked away a New Chevy Owner. I am completely in love with my Equinox EV AWD. I am a longtime customer to Future Chevrolet and their service department. I have had excellet service here in the past, when the issues were straight-forward. Recently, I have taken my vehicle in twi service department. I have had excellet service here in the past, when the issues were straight-forward. Recently, I have taken my vehicle in twice for the same issue in the past month, which is a nearly constant knocking / clunking sound coming from the leaf springs of the vehicle that appeared at around 5000 miles on the odo. Anyone who rides in the vehicle immediately notices the sound as a "something's broken" type of sound. There is a TSB available on the leaf spring noise issue. Future Chevrolet's service department has been unable to fix the problem and now after the second failed attempt, depending on who I talk to, they will claim that either 1. There is no issue at all, or 2. There is an issue but it's 'normal'. The shop foreman stated he was unable to detect any unusual noise while driving the vehicle. I do not find this to be believable. Coincidentally, the problem actually became worse after the second attempt to fix it, and now I can feel the clunking sound from the leaf springs in the floorboards of the vehicle while driving. I had this exact same issue with a previous Silverado 1500 truck about 2 years ago and they took care of it by replacing the leafs springs. Apparently, that is no longer something they (or Chevrolet) are willing to offer. Additionally, the communication has been sub par. The service advisors were usually honest and would tell me when they forgot to call me back. I was often finding myself without updates and needing to call them for more information despite them saying I would hear from them "soon". As for the speed of service, it took one week to insert some plastic spaces and then another week to torque 8 bolts. Seems excessive and I am now out hundreds of dollars in alternative transportation costs. I won't be coming back here for service and based on the multitide of other unexpolained issues with this vehicle (DEF system misreporting driving range, stereo freezing, cracked drive shaft seal, to name a few) I don't plan to purchase another GM vehicle. This will be my last. The truck has 6000 miles on it and feels and sounds broken and according to Future Chevrolet, that's just how it is. More
