I was transparent from the start: I’m currently working with attorneys, awaiting loan cancellation and a refund, and submitted a credit application here to prepare for my next steps. I made it explicitly clear that I did not want to receive any automated communications and that I wanted to hear back from only a human being with a status update of my credit application so that I could decide whether to shop for a vehicle I can pay for in cash while I awaited the current loan to fall off my credit after the cancellation. Despite this, I was contacted repeatedly by “Emma,” a bot-style CRM agent that kept messaging me as if we’d never spoken — even after I asked them to stop via email, chat, and text. I told them clearly: Stop messaging me. I only want human contact with direct access to my application. They acknowledged my request multiple times, yet continued spamming me. Their system disregarded: SMS opt-out requests Email unsubscribe confirmations Human-stated boundaries Even worse, their chat rep refused to escalate to a supervisor. The entire interaction made me feel like a sales lead in a funnel — not a real person facing an urgent legal situation involving a prior dealer’s fraud. This is CRM harassment, not customer service. I’ve attached screenshots of the live chat, text message threads, and emails to document the full pattern. I’m extremely disappointed in Vacaville GMC’s handling of this. Don't trust them! The finance department will lie to your face. I worked in the car business for years and am aware of the tactics they use to maximize their profit. This dealer puts add-ons on their vehicles and forces you to buy them if you want the vehicle. Worse yet, they lie to try and slide them in. This has been the case for years so don't buy the story "they are under new management". Same scams, same scammers. Go to Roseville or Elk Grove. You will be better off. More
This is one of those dealerships that will try to rip you off in every possible way. From overcharging for license fees. I recently purchased a vehicle at GMC of Vacaville and had a surprisingly pleasant experience! The staff I encountered (David, Mike, and Steven) were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It took had a surprisingly pleasant experience! The staff I encountered (David, Mike, and Steven) were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It took me two (lengthy) visits to finally commit to the purchase I wanted to make, but the staff was patient and never made me feel like I was wasting their time, nor did I feel the stereotypical 'car salesman pressure' I have come to expect at a dealership. David does his job well, he's knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, yet knew when to give me the space to make my decision. Mike was experienced and knowledgeable on the financial end of the transaction, and provided sound guidance outside of what his job requires. The GM, Steven, went above and beyond to sell me a car that fit my financial means. I am happy with my new vehicle, my purchase experience here, and will definitely return to GMC Vacaville for future purchases! More
