Very friendly staff at Gales Chevrolet. Stephen Gallegos jumped right on to exactly what we wanted and went out of his way to make sure we left with an awesome truck. I had a great experience with Alex on a 2019 Chevy Bolt purchase in March 2019, but that was my only great experience at Galle's. I had issues with the service department in February of this year, as they purchase in March 2019, but that was my only great experience at Galle's. I had issues with the service department in February of this year, as they only ordered half of what was needed and that took a week and a half longer than quoted. But the end all was yesterday. I called 4 times last week to schedule an appointment for a recall service. On the 5th call the girl who answered the phone transferred me to the service department. They then told me to make an appointment online, which I did. AND, I noted in the appropriate space that it was a recall and listed the item to be replaced. I ALSO NOTED to let me know if the item needed WAS NOT IN STOCK! So we go to our appointment yesterday and drop the car off and are told it'll be around 3 hours. That's great. We leave for lunch and shopping and get called one hour later and are told "our Bolt is ready" - but wait...they didn't do anything, why? Because they didn't have that part!!! And they never saw my notes, they said! I just had major shoulder surgery and it is very difficult to drive! Now we have to turn around and go back at some point...Who knows when as they didn't have any idea when the part would be in. I'll likely be going elsewhere! They're awesome at selling you a vehicle, just not so great on servicing it! I am so disappointed and fed up with their service department! More
Great service work on a 14 year old Chevy Colorado. Took in a 2005 Chevy Colorado for front hub repairs that a local, hometown mechanic screwed up. I was greeted by a young lady, Masheyti Romero, who w Took in a 2005 Chevy Colorado for front hub repairs that a local, hometown mechanic screwed up. I was greeted by a young lady, Masheyti Romero, who would be my service advisor. The truck was immediately taken to the repair area while I enjoyed free, hot Kuerig style coffee and soft chairs in the waiting room while watching TV and using their free internet. While relaxing there, the service advisor came up to me and said the mechanic wanted to show me what he found wrong with the truck. We walked to the maintenance area where the mechanic began to show me the actually broken and worn components within the hub/axle area. He already did his homework, and had the prices listed for the replacement parts. I authorized the parts and he completed the work. About 3 weeks later, the right front CV rubber boot was found torn and leaking grease everywhere. The truck was returned for repair, and the entire job was completed free of charge. I have only good things to say about the service portion of Galles Chevrolet. I highly recommend them for any Chevrolet maintenance. More
Horrible Experience Deception, lies, and don't give a crap attitude. We recently had our truck broken into in an attempted theft. We have a kill switch so the truck was n Deception, lies, and don't give a crap attitude. We recently had our truck broken into in an attempted theft. We have a kill switch so the truck was not stolen. We did make an insurance claim and they suggested a few places. We choose Galles Chevrolet. Galles Chevrolet lied to us, about knowledge of the kill switch, claimed to do an inspection, my tires are bad and didn't state this, didn't fix the truck properly, no power lock operation, and took over a month to work on it. When confronted on these matters I was hung up on by the service manager and treated like an idiot by the general manager. They also sold us a un-needed battery, as ours was only a year old with a 2 year free replacement from interstate. They do not do complete work and make excuses and lies when asked why the truck is not fixed. More

Terrible excuse for a "dealership" Took my truck in last week for a check engine light. Took my truck to a trusted family friend in Clovis, NM and the ONLY problem was with the oxygen sensor. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE...this "dealership" will try to take every last penny you have More
Careless and sub par service. I've taken my 2014 Silverado in twice for routine service. The first time the service techs lost my custom wheel lug nut key and left off screws form I've taken my 2014 Silverado in twice for routine service. The first time the service techs lost my custom wheel lug nut key and left off screws form my air cleaner. They also ordered parts for my passenger side door and the drivers seat bracket. I never received a call the parts had come in. I called the parts department and they had no record of the parts being ordered, looked up the service record and reordered them. Still no call after three months. The second time the previous parts were reordered and installed along with items on the current service advisories. However, I also wanted them to rotate the tires and align. They could neither because they can not work on 35" tires. I also advised them to look at a rubbing noise in the steering column. They obviously didn't because it 's still there. I was also told to please complete a quality survey that they would send out via email: It never came and I know why. More

They checked it, but when I got my car back home my husband notice two bolts were missing on the cover. They did not put the bolts back on; its a good thing it didn't fall off on the way home ; I called the service advisor and all he said was " sorry about that." " Oh come by and we'll take care of it" - I live 50 miles out of town! Do the job right the first time! Will not go there anytime soon. More
